    This is almost a perfect travel system. The only down size is the bulk/weight of the stroller and the weight of the carseat. If you can get past that you'll like this. Some people are concerned with the space of the leg holes in the stroller my 3yr old cousin loves the stroller. I had her test it out on a walk when I was still pregnant her comments "It has a place for my juice box, and a place for my snack!" I asked her if her legs were ok, and she said "yup!" she's a pretty average sized 3yr old too, and we had no problem getting her in and out to feed the ducks. The stroller is a bit heavy and bulky for putting in the car but I still like it. The carseat just fits, but isn't too big, for my 4 door grand prix, and I have yet to find it to be too big for resturant booths (and I'll admit in my last month of pregnancy I was too big for booths lol). It does tend to be a bit heavy especially when you add a baby who is in the 90% for his weight, but it has all the safety features I wanted so I'll take the extra bit of weight. To me it feels a little sturdier than the Graco's because of the weight. I love the colors and the patterns and have no problem using this later if we have a girl. Our little guy seems to like it and easily falls asleep during car rides, and stroller walks. When we bought ours it was already put together so I can't comment on assembly

    I shopped for this travel system with my mother. Being a first time grandmother she insisted on the safest model. Although it was quite a bit more expensive than others that I had looked at, I wasn't going to argue with her, especially since she was giving it to us as a gift. It is a very classy looking system, but I sometimes wonder if something more affordable would have been just as good. At first, I loved the car seat because Riley fit safely in it weighing only 4 lbs 8 oz. when we brought her home from the hospital. Even though she was so tiny, she seemed very safe and snug in the seat. She didn't grow overly fast, but I started to notice that she seemed to be running out of room length wise rather quickly. My main dislike with this product is that the car seat is EXTREMELY heavy. I see other women carrying their children in car seats with ease. Every time I am carrying Riley (who is 13.5 pounds at 5 months), I feel like I must look so weak because I struggle with the bulky car seat. I'm in pretty good shape, so it's frustrating to look like I can't even carry my child. Also, the rear wheels on the stroller are very wide. I am constantly running into racks when we are shopping. I also have a hard time with the seat adjustment on the stroller. I can never get it to sit up as much as I would like. Overall, although it's very nice to look at, it's not as functional as I hoped it would be...especially for the price.

    It's a great travel system and never gave me many problems. The only problem I had with it was the sun cover on the carseat kept coming off after a couple months of use. But besides that the only down falls were the carseat was heavy and the stroller is a bit bulky so it can be hard manuvering around stores with the stroller.

      Comments about S1 by Safety 1st AeroLite Premiere Travel System Stroller - Pegasus:

      I bought the travel system mainly because it looked far more comfortable than many of the car seats and my son would spend a great deal of time in a car seat. Only difficult thing I found with the car seat was that as my son got bigger- the car seat was far heavier than other car seats but I felt he was safe when we traveled and that is the main focus.
      I was told to see if you can put the stroller up and down with one arm- because often times you will be carrying a child or something in your other arm and this passed the test for me! It is easy to wash up and my son LOVED it. The fact the stroller has a cup holder for him and two for me- made it very nice when we traveled. The stroller would lay flat nicely for my son to take naps as well when we were at an event all day.

      It is easy to adjust straps, and is easy to fold.
      It is wide, so going in some stores with small isles can be difficult.

      Comments about S1 by Safety 1st AeroLite Premiere Travel System Stroller - Pegasus:

      We received this travel system as a baby shower gift and overall it has served its purpose. Since this is a review about the entire "travel system", I'll discuss it as a pair, first. We're out and about and travel often and we've been thankful to have a travel system. It makes shopping and going out with a newborn so much easier because most times newborns fall asleep in the carseat and you do not have to wake them when transporting. BUT, once your child reaches 4-5 months of age using the entire travel system becomes a hassle. I LOVE THIS CARSEAT...however because it is so sturdy and well-built, trying to pick it up and move it into the stroller with a 5 month old weighing nearly 20lbs is nearly impossible for me. I find myself struggling almost falling at times. However, the carseat is very good, and has received very high safety ratings, so I would definitely purchase it again.

      The stroller is.... let's just say very bulky and at times awkward. At times when I've had to maneuver it one-handed, I have run into walls and the edges of doors beacuse the wheels seem impossible to steer correctly. It is also extremely difficult to lift out of my trunk and my husband still hasn't mastered how to open the darn thing without slinging it around ine very direction looking for open latch. Right now we're looking for a smaller, stroller that is easier to maneuver, lift and open.

      Overall, I wouldn't recommend the travel system. I could have gotten by with purchasing the carseat, and invested in a stroller that is more efficient and user friendly.

        Comments about S1 by Safety 1st AeroLite Premiere Travel System Stroller - Pegasus:

        I read every review and went to the store many many times before deciding on a travel system. The things that were important to me were that the travelsystem patched the play yard and high chair, a trusted brand with safe reviews and ratings, easy to use, gender neutral so I don't have to go through this decision ever again.
        My baby cried a lot every time we put her in the car seat, and would scream until gasping/choking throughout the trip. THIS WAS NOT THE FAULT OF THE CAR SEAT. I tried others, but guess what ... babies want ot be with mommies, not strapped into a position confining safety device. They don't know that it is important for their safety and some babies just HATE being separated from moms loving warm embrace ... that being said, when she hit 3 months and left the 4th trimester behind her the car trips were much better. Those first three months, I limited car trips as much as possible and when a car trip was necessary, I made it without drama, talked to her, swaddled JUST HER ARMS OVER THE STRAPS, and played her white noise (see Happiest Baby on the Block for more info). She was the type that would wake upon moving so the wait until she is asleep and then move her rarely worked, but we made it through and from 3 months until 13 months she loved her seat. With the base it was easy to click into the car and for the nanny who didn't have a base (her choice) it was easy to use the seatbelt to put her in. It traveled well when we took flights to other places and was easier to bring it than to get one from the rental car. It was easy to clean and easy to adjust. I will use it for the next baby for sure (just praying the next baby doesn't have such a dramatic first few months).
        The stroller is great. It was easy to click the car seat in when she was a baby, and easy to adjust the back angle whe nshe was old enough to sit there. I primarily wear my baby in a wrap or sling, but when jogging I had no need of a special jogging stroller as this one is quite steady and reasonably lightweight. I even used it to run a 5K just before Christmas. The Nanny uses it to jog daily and baby girl will often drift to sleep in it. There is a gap in the canopies when using it with the car seat, I like this as it allows baby to BREATHE which stale air can lead to SIDS so I am happy about the gap. If it is raining you can use an umbrella, drap a lightweight blanket over the gap if it is a surprise shower or a quick dash into a store, or don't go out in the rain with your baby ...
        The stroller is very easy to close and once you find the latch that keeps it closed, it is very easy to open and lock in place. The wheels are stable and once it's folded it is no bigger than any other travelsystem stroller and easy to lift with one hand into the trunk. The drink holders on the handle are a bit narrower and we had to look for special water bottles that would fit (as I don't like buying the kind you throw away) and there are two on the handle which is great for me and the 7 year old. There is one extra deep cup holder front and center for the baby which is perfect and I was surprised that more strollers didn't offfer this awesome configuration. The undercarriage storage was a bit shallow, but it went pretty far under the seat of the stroller. This sometimes made access to the baby junk tricky, but some clever positioning when you first pack the stroller is useful for any trip out.
        I have no reason to ever buy another stroller or travelsystem and am looking forward to the next baby enjoying it as well.

            Comments about S1 by Safety 1st AeroLite Premiere Travel System Stroller - Pegasus:

            I love the idea of the travels system. Our daughter is going to be 2 in January and we've flown over 30 times, each time using this system. The carseat is spectacular! She can ride in it for long periods comfortably and I knew she was safe. When we had the fire department check our installation he commented on how it is known as the Cadillac of carseats and the one he chose for his own child. Car seat gets 5 stars, the stroller...not so much.
            I wish I could fold this piece up and throw that heap into a burning pit of fire. Both my husband and I are over 6' and this stroller has become the bane of our existence. We are constantly kicking the undercarriage and the handle is so low we look like we has osteoporosis. For a travel system, you think they'd research and see if it would fit through the scanners, nope... very few of the x-ray machines are large enough for the stroller. Carseat yes, stroller not even close. The locking function on the stroller is a joke for seasoned travelers. That sucker snapped off the first flight. We now have it jimmy-rigged with zip ties. While the carseat is durable and comfortable, the stroller is definitely left wanting in both departments. Daughter hates to ride in it. The back support is nothing more than a thicker piece of cardboard with very little padding.

            So recap:
            Carseat= SPECTACULAR
            Stroller= TRASH

The only problem is the stroller is very bulky very hard to fit in the truck of my mid sized sedan. But its totally worth it. I love this product.

Its a little heave but i rather have a heavy one that is safe than a cheap one that will harm my baby in an accident. This is the best one i have ever seen. My baby is 9 months now and still have room to grow which is awesome (no feet hanging)..if you want your baby to be safe and condy this is the stroller you want
