After watching my son 10 months old take his first Frankenstein type steps I rushed out and bought this walker. I didn't want to spend too much because previous experience showed me that kids don't use these very long. It was easy enough to put together and my son likes to play with the compartments and the spinning wheel. But not using it as a walker. So I'm just eager to see him walk again, since those first steps he hasn't done it since.

I have to disagree with the negative reviews. I've never had this flip over on my son, but then again he didn't use it as a walking toy until he started walking. Yes, you have to assemble it, but it's not hard. We've had this for a year and it's still in great condition. My son especially likes the letters and mail slots. He loves anything he can open and close. Yes, the mail slot doors come off, but they also go back on just as easily, not a big deal. Yes, it's not full of bells and whistles like some of the other walkers, but our son prefers more simpler toys. Sometimes it's not necessary to buy a toy with lights and sounds. My son is now 20 mo and still plays with this. I would definitely recommend this!

My son received this as a gift when he was 7 months old. He used it for a while while sitting then also when he started learning to walk. He especially loved the letters and mail slots. Not every toy needs to have songs and lights. He's 18 mo now and still plays with it. This is a great toy for the price!

I am really surprised at all the negative reviews this product has received. My nephew got one for his first birthday in August and loves is so much we are going to get one for our daughter who turns one next week.

The best feature is the resistence setting for the wheels. We have tile floor and our daughter is reluctant to let go of things to walk because she has bonker her head a few times. This walker, unlike others, has a resistence setting, so she can push it without having it fly out from under her on the no resistance floors.

Our nephew, who is one of the biggest boys I have ever seen (he's the size of some two year olds) is still using it for fun even though he can walk fine now that he is 15 months. We just watched a video of him walking down the sidewalk in his halloween costume with this walker- he was trucking and loved it!

I have not heard a negative word about it from my sister and I have not seen any issue with it myself. So the negative reviews are baffling me.

It takes a lot of trial and error before you can even play with this item. It is a nice idea however it has not withstood the terror of a 9 month old! I know it can not with stand any older... It does stay on the floor which is a plus compaired to some toys!
I believe they had the right idea however some of the items need to be assebled before sale.

My 10 month old was trying to walk but just didn't have anything to help her along. I bought this for her and after 2 days she was trucking all over the place. By a week later she was walking totally on her own. Agree that assembly was a bear. She's just turned 12 mos now and she still plays with. She and her much older brother race through the house with it. She never has played with the extras (butterfly, caterpillar, lady bug, twirly thing on the door), but loves handing me the envelopes and taking them back.

I an so disappointed with this activity walker! My son is 11 months old and usually walks around pretty well while holding on to furniture and I thought this would be a great toy to help him transition into walking on his own. WRONG. This walker is way to flimsy and cheaply made! Nothing is pre-assembled, you have to screw on all of the parts yourself, and the plastic is so thin and week the screws go right through and don't actually hold anything in place. Plus the entire unit is so unsturdy that it tips over almost every time my son tries to pull himself up. Yes, he is entertained by it, but I am just not comfortable with the cheap quality. There is a mailbox flap on the front, meant for the toy envelopes to be dropped into, but it comes off WAY to easily and defeats the purpose all together. I will definitely be returning this!!

Not good quality, too light, just cheap feeling & looking.. The little doors always fell off.. My sons favorite part were the little red/blue/yellow fake "mail" which was not worth [$].. It wasn't sturdy and was way to light to help him walk with it, which was why i got it in the first place, so I returned it..

Both my daughter and son used this toy to learn to walk. They are older now and still play with it. It's very durable and easy to clean! Great for outdoor and indoor play!
