I love Balmex, but the stick didn't work for me. It didn't push the ointment up through the plastic applicator. It's a mess and not worth it.

Great idea and I was so excited to finally have a 'no mess' diaper cream! However, the tube/stick doesn't work and is messy. It falls apart and you end up using your hands anyways...

My baby has SUPER sensitive skin and has had a diaper rash since literally the day after he was born. I tried a couple of other products and sometimes they relieved him for a day, sometimes not at all, but it never went away completely and always quickly returned to its former state. Once I started using Balmex his rash went away completely and did not come back again until today because I haven't had to use it in a couple of weeks. It is such a relief to see a perfectly rash-free bum and know that my baby feels good! I bought more so that I can have 1 on each floor of my house and 1 in his diaper bag.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I agree with the flaw in packaging that others have mentioned. I realized the hard way that you have to hold the cap down when you roll it up because I noticed too late that the product was oozing out the bottom of the cap and making a mess. It is slightly annoying but since the product is so amazing It's not a deal-breaker.

I've tried EVERY diaper cream there is. My son has had a super sensitive butt since day 1. There are only a few diaper creams that actually work to protect his skin, and this is one of them. It is the ONLY one that comes with this applicator, though. It's the only one I'll buy now!

I am a nurse, and the idea of applying diaper cream with my fingers was always a turn off... even with my own sweet little baby. When I saw this "dispenser" I was excited!! I will admit that they haven't perfected the applicator. You have to hold the plastic top on while you are dialing it up to dispense the cream. You also have to wipe the excess cream off the lid into the diaper after you've applied it to your baby's bottom. This is how you keep from getting a mess inside your applicator. I haven't found any way around it, and it has been this way with every one I've gone through. It is still better than applying with your fingers!

I had only a couple other creams I would buy until this applicator came out, and now I feel there is no competition.

I use Balmex and thought the roll on would be great. The top plastic part doesn't stay on and so when I push the ointment up, the plastic piece moves up too. Very disappointing.

I use this on our 5 week old child - it is WAY easier than using the creams you need to apply with your fingers, and I find I can get an even coat of cream on a wiggly baby - definite plus. Also, you can choose your own adventure in that if you need a little more, click a little more, if you only want a smidge, just add a little bit. GREAT!!!!

I thought this would be a no-mess solution to rash cream since it is dispensed like a cream deodorant, but after less than a month of regular-but-not-daily use, the physical container was falling apart! The oil in the rash cream seemed to cause the plastic parts to separate, resulting in an oily substance leaking onto my changing table shelf. I ended up having to throw away the whole container even though there were more than 3/4 of the product left.

I liked this diaper rash ointment. I protects my baby's skin very well and is virtually mess free when applying (you just roll it on without having cream all over your fingers.) Although I like the spray on type of rash protector better, this product is also good overall.
