This is a great bib - it keeps the milk "dribbles" from rolling down baby's neck and onto his/her outfit...LOVE IT! I have a newborn baby and this bib is a lifesaver for my laundry! The only downside is when you wash the bib it is a must to close the velcro completely - the velcro is incredibly strong and will catch onto other items (like bibs and towels especially) and snag them in the washer / dryer.

My babies are 11 weeks old and spit up a lot. They get formula trapped in the folds of their necks on a regular basis so when I discovered these bibs I was excited and willing to pay for something that would prevent the problem. I was disappointed to discover (after removing the packaging) that the bibs did not fit around either of my babies necks. My guess is you could use these bibs with newborns, but probably only for a couple of weeks.

        We love these bibs. My daugther spit up a ton and drooled a lot. She wore these everyday to help prevent us from having to change her clothes numerous times per day.

        Now she is almost 2 and eats at the table and I wish they still fit her because they are great for when she dribbles milk while eating cereal, etc. The plastic bibs just let the milk run down and it gets on her pants.

        I would recommend putting them in a mesh bag in the washer so the velcro dosen't stick to everything, but other than that they are easy to wash.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        The bib does keep milk from the neck area, but the the material is so weak that it does not absorb spit outs at all. The milk ends up soaking baby's clothes and sliding off to my clothes.

          We have twin boys and got TONS of bibs at our shower but these are by far our favorite! They are Milk bibs so they actually fit newborns and the roll keeps their neck and clothes dry! I would not buy these for toddlers as I think the neck would be too tight.

          When washing the bib, velcro it shut and wash with other bibs in a small laundry bag. They come out perfect and the bag prevents the velcro from sticking to the rest of your laundry.

          Lastly, for those of you that are sratching up your babies with the velcro, the Tommee label should be facing out and this will elminate the scratcy side from being on their neck.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

              This is the only bib I will use! Tried a lot of different ones and none even come close to these. They fit great and really keep my son's clothes from getting soiled from his formula and drool. They also keep his neck super clean. The only thing I wish they had was more color choices, but I am more than happy to have them!!! Must buy!

              These are perfect for bottle feeding and breast feeding. The thick rolled neckline catches every drop! I only change my baby's clothes once or twice a day. Also, I just flip it up over my shoulder (with the baby still wearing it) to protect my clothes when I burp. I wish I'd put the Velcro together the first few times I washed, because it did snag the terry cloth a little. Still, I love these bibs!

                    My baby is not due until the holidays so I haven't used the bibs yet but they are nice and soft and seem to be made well. I haven't washed them yet either so I don't know how well they will hold up after washing either. They seem like they will cover up most of my baby and the fabric around the neck seems lie it will not allow milk to spill down onto my baby's skin either.

                    I can't really give an honest review about the bibs until I try them out.

                    These are great. Very absorbant and the little ridge at the neck stops many spills from dribbling down on to my baby's neck and clothes. The only complaint is that in the velcro gets beat up in the wash but this is true of all my bibs...not sure there is a solution for that problem. The velcro does still function. I've been using these bibs for almost two months now and wash very often since they are my favorite.
