Well if I was sent the right truck then I could rate it, but I was sent the front loader instead. However, if rating this one it is fine, except one of the three buttons does not work. For some reason this truck and the other one have the same item #, so when asked if I would be sent the right one they said, "Yes we will make sure it is the one with the figure and check it." Yeah, right. They just grab whatever one matches the number, they do not look that close when they are getting ready to ship it. They need to have two different item #'s so you can order the one you want. Very disappointed!

This was not the truck in the picture. They sent the front loader instead of the side loader. It works.

I can't properly rate this item because Toys R Us didn't ship the item I ordered. We purchased this SIDE LOADER garbage truck for our 3 year old's prize for going to the potty. When we opened it, it was a totally different model - a front loader which he already has. In small print of the description of the purchase, it says "style/color may vary". Don't advertise the SIDE LOADER if you're going to send the front loader. The same thing happened to a friend who ordered an orange and green side loader and ended up with TWO green front loaders. Seems like that's the only model Toys R Us has and is wrongfully advertising the side loader to get customers to purchase it.

My 2 year old son was so excited to get this truck. He was so happy to lift the trash can up and down on the conveyor belt. However, the belt broke after one week of use. He still loves the truck even though it doesn't function properly. Also, the garbage man is almost impossible for an adult to fit into the front cab. There is no way a 2 year old will be able to shove him in there. There could have been more thought put into the toy. We are very disappointed in Tonka, especially for the price of the toy.

My boys LOVE this truck (and the 3 other ones we have). There are several comments about the quality, however I don't see the problem. My sister has had hers for 3 years with her 7 and 5 year old boys with no problems. We have had ours for several months now with now problems either. My kids love it and so do I.

We got this truck for my 2.5 year old for Christmas. He loves it. He's fascinated with the garbage can that goes up the belt and dumps into the truck. All kids who come over, from age 2 up to teenagers are fascinated by the truck (not that I would buy it for a teenager, but the do think its a pretty cool toddler toy). He does get frustrated sometimes because the back of the truck doesn't stay shut, but he loves it just the same.

My grandson was so excited to get the truck for Christmas, unfortunately it was broken the first week. Toys for young children need to be tough. Kids play hard, the toys need to be durable.

This truck is very cool. You can lift the "garbage" and dump it into the truck, then turn the knob to move it into the truck, then open the back of the truck to get it out. My son loves to put his little cars in this.

Our boys are trash truck fanatics. This would be great if it functioned. The black conveyor belt on the side loader broke after the first day. No way to repair.

My son LOVES garbage trucks so this reasonably priced truck was a fantastic find! However just from pulling the garbage can off it broke in just ONE day!!! Gurrrr!!! Removing the garbage can from the rolling side track so my son could fill it with garbage caused the rubber track that lifts the garbage can to snap apart! There is no fixing this.
