I foun this bottles to work wonders with my son, now that im back to work he has to be bottle fed on the daycare but when hes not there i breastfeed him and there´s no nipple confussion, i tried other bottles (playtex Nurser drop-ins) and he just was not into breastfeeding anymore so i started using this ones and loved them. Te only thing i don´t like its because of its shape some milk gets stuck on the rim.

I bought this bottle because I exclusively breast feed. My baby had reflux so for the first 9 months we didnt bottle feed. I just started bottle feeding him (exclusively mothers milk). Stage one nipple worked great, but as soon as we bought stage 2 the nipple folds and locks the flow of milk, so he has a hard time drinking & gets upset, tiered and stops drinking. Also its very hard to get the last .5oz down. And for those who pump, the milk is like gold and we dont want any to go to waste. Love the shape of the nipple and how he didnt get confused, but I will not recommend this product to anyone. I think the co. has to make some adjustments in fixing shape of bottle and the nipple.

Like the wide base nipple on these bottles, but difficult to get the last .5 oz or so into the nipple. The bottle is so wide that the last of the milk gets stuck in the bottle and won't drain into the nipple. To get it to drain you have to put the bottle at an awkward angle that makes it difficult for baby to eat. Preferred vent aire for younger babies. Also, for the price, why doesn't it come with a lid? Seems unsanitary to put bottle in diaper bag without covering the nipple

I got this bottles in my baby shower! i read in the web site about them and how they works! they are great! they work really good in my baby!

i start to feed her when she was 2 weeks old with my breastmilk! she burp really fast, she is not confuse at all between my nipple and the bottle nipple.
we still using the nipple slow flow (0+) and we are not having problems with that! she burp fast, she is not having gases or reflux.........for me this bottle is the best........she loves it...........

PD: not all the babies are the same, i don't think the products are bad, i don't
think products make kids react different! i think there are products for every single person some of them work really good some not.

All of my friends who have had babies ended up loving TT bottles the best, so that is what we immediately started with instead of trying other brands. I've been breast-feeding exclusively but started storing excess pumped milk in these bottles. My MIL started giving baby a bottle w/out telling me while I was asleep during the first week! I was upset and scared that she would end up with nipple confusion so early on, but it's now been almost 2 weeks and she gets bottle-fed once a day almost every day. And so far, NO nipple confusion! YAY! I like the shape of the bottle and the nipple & base is a much closer to "mom's" than the Medela ones I got with our pump. I also like that they can be used with the Medela pump with the adaptor and I can pump straight into the bottle! The storage lids are also great and I find them pretty easy to stack a few in the fridge or freezer!

I was not planning on using bottles very much before our little girl was born, but due to medical reasons I had to temporarily put nursing aside and put to use the starter pack of Tommee Tippee and Dr. Brown Bottles I had registerd for. I had more TT than DB so we used them a ton her first month. I really wanted to like them for their cool, innovative and modern design, but honestly they really stink when it comes to feeding (and that's the whole point!!)

1. Their shape prevents consistent milk flow. Towards the end milk gets caught up on the rim of the "hour glass shape" which causes me to interrupt the feeding and swish it around upside down to get the milk into the nipple.
2. The nipple clogs easily. This is really fun when feeding my 1 month old at night in low light. I bet you can imagine how much she loves it when I'm sitting there picking at the nipple hole instead of giving her her meal.
3. Oh, and the nipple "scrunches up" easily creating all kinds of air bubbles leading to uncomfortable gas. I know proper positioning can help with this issue, but it happens way too easily.
4. They are an awkward shape...since there is more horizontal room than vertical they take up a ton of room in the fridge and diaper bag and don't fit in a cup holder should you need to use it on the stroller, car, etc.
5. The snap on lid stays on well....too well. When you are holding your little one with one hand and are trying to pry open the bottle with your thumb and index finger it's near to impossible. Dr. Brown lids you can easily twist off. So much better
6. My husband calls them "Tommee Tippsy" because they are so easy to knock over---like a bowling pin.

I thought about giving them one more star because my friend uses them now with her 6 month hold and her son likes them bc they are close to the shape of a sippy cup and he likes holding them. However, she too disliked them when he was younger and it's not MY 6 month olds experience so I can't really give this bottle that extra star.

If I was pressed to say one more thing it would be this: GET DR. BROWNS!

I really liked the size, shape, and ease of use of these bottles. My son latched on without any problems and it didn't cause nipple confusion. However he had difficulties because of the flow of the nipple. The slow flow nipples were too fast. He fought the bottle because of it and I needed to find a solution since I was going back to work. He usually nurses for 40 mins and he was finishing the bottle in 10 mins. He never seemed satisfied after the bottle either. So I tried Dr Brown with the preemie flow nipples (the slowest flow nipple I can find). That has worked for us. He can now handle the flow and the bottle now takes 25 to 30 mins, more similar to nursing. I highly recommend those if you are breastfeeding and need to bottle feed while at work! Yes more parts to clean with the Dr Brown but worth it!

I have always been partial to Medela since I love their breast pump and all other products I have tried, and their bottles worked fine for my son. However, my second child is not able to latch onto the breast to breastfeed, thus I am currently pumping and working with her to get back to the breast. After being recommended by a lactation consultant, I tried the Tommee Tippee bottles. Since we have started using these, my daughter is no longer choking and/or spitting/throwing up every time we feed her, and she is latching properly to the bottle almost every time. The milk does not rush out at a pace she cannot handle. Additionally, she is getting closer to actual breastfeeding (we try 1-2 times a day) because the Tommee Tippee bottles are so similar to the breast and are not causing nipple confusion. After 2 weeks of using these bottles, I have seen a significant (and positive) difference in her feedings. She seems less gassy, is gaining weight appropriately, and most importantly, is able to latch on and eat without choking. I do agree that the bottles are awkwardly shaped and you have to tilt the bottle fully in order to get those last few drops of liquid out, but for me it is worth it during my effort to get her back to the breast. I have also tried Aveta bottles; they are okay but she still chokes on them. I recommend Tommee Tippee bottles for anybody who has had difficulty breastfeeding or a child with nipple confusion.

These bottles were great when I needed them. I breastfed most of the time but when I needed to use a bottle these were easy for my son to transition to. I love the way the nipple doesn't get sucked into itself like normal shaped nipples due to the vent. They are also nice if you get the Tommee Tippee Weaning Sippy cup/Training sippy...everything is interchangeable!

I decided to purchase these bottles because we were in need of more and these happened to be buy 1 get 1 free at the time. I had read good reviews of them, so I decided to give them a shot. After many times of using these and another brand, I thought that these were doing ok. The nipple gets inverted sometimes but I didn't think it was that big of a deal because my daughter was drinking. Then I started noticing that my daughter was spitting up A LOT! I thought it was a bunch of different reasons, but after testing out these bottles, my others, and feeding her the same way, I realized that it was these bottles. I think the flow is too fast for her and that may be what is causing her to have lots of spit ups. I will be returning the other box I purchased and getting more of the ones we really like- Born Free.
