Baby loves this toy... like the other comments he "talks" to the octopus (we named BLUE) and mouths the crinkly legs (we think he is teething already - 3.5 mos.). The songs are great and the plastic rings and fish are just right - not too many, not too noisy and easy to grab. Wish you could replace the battery... but since this is easily his favorite toy we are buying another one now and will save the soundless one as a back up. Heaven forbid the favorite toy goes missing and we dont have a back up :-)

My son has loved, loved, loved this toy. It's been hanging in his crib since about 2 months old. We snapped it on his stroller, carseat and swing too. He loves it. Everything interactive about it is fantastic. He used it to self soothe too. My only problem is that at 19 months old the battery seems to have died. This really bums me out. There is no way to change it! It's still one of his favorites but the slow sick sound of the songs depresses me. I may have to try to open it up and see if I can replace it. I don't mind sewing it back up, just wish they'd made it so you didn't have to.

I bought this one day while I was browsing and I didnt quite expect my 3 month Mason to grow so attached to it! He loves it! He especially loves the face, its bizarre but so cute, he just wants to look at the face, he squeezes the heck out of it and he loves the crinkle sounds and music it plays. It's a great toy!

Its very colorful, it plays cute songs and its just CUTE!! I loved it... I used it on my Diaper cake and it came out so stinking cute!!

This is my 3 month old's favorite toy and one of the ways we're able to "reset" him when he's fussy and crying. He loves to grab the rings, make it play the music, crinkle the tentacles, and put them in his mouth. The music it plays isn't annoying like so many others. Love it!

It hangs in their crib. The music handle is easy for the babies to grab even the very first week they discover they can grab, and the music is great. They smile at the face on the octopus.

I bought this for my son when he was around 2 and a half months. I saw it in the store and instantly wanted it because my son has always had a soft spot for toys that make noise and light up. This toy doesn't light up so at the time we bought a different toy, but when I saw this toy again I knew I wanted it! So my son loves suck on the legs and chewing on the head, rings, and fish in the middle. I think the length of the song and fish are just fine because he usually pulls the fish so fast it doesn't finishing playing before it goes to the next song anyways. Best toy ever! I always know that he'll be wanting to play with this when I pull it out!

I didn't register for many toys, but when I came across this one I thought it was cute and the reviews were so great, so on the registry it went.

My baby is only 10 weeks old, but he LOVES this octopus (or "Pulpo", as we have named it). I have it hanging from the changing table so he can look up at it when he's lying in the bassinet component of his Pack-N-Play.

I can't explain it - it doesn't do anything all that special. Maybe its the colors. But he just looks up and smiles at it, even when he's not swatting at it and I'm not pulling the cord to play the sounds for him.

I'm so glad I added this to my registry. Keeps baby entertained and all smiles.
