I was so excited to order this dresser after reading the positive reviews and having a great experience with another dresser (different manufacturer) from Babies R Us. When the dresser came I was extremely disappointed. It is glorified corkboard and plywood. Nothing like the quality wood that our other dresser is made of. It was difficult to put together as not one piece is labeled. The drawers do not close easily and the final product is cheap looking. There are other dressers available at Babies R Us that are a much better quality. I will never buy a piece of furniture online without seeing it in person first!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This dresser is so adorable, I also purchased the hutch that goes with it and I am just in love! It was alot to put together but the wood is solid. It looks and feels much more expensive!!!

We are still waiting for our bundles to arrive but are looking forward to really testing out the dresser. Once it was put together, it seems very sturdy & looks wonderful in our nursery. To save money, I bought the "Emily II" instead of staying with the "Kalani" that would match my crib. No one would notice the difference, they both look great together. The drawers slide easily, we may add rubber/padded bumpers to drawer fronts & cabinet door to soften the noise when closing. Also has great variety for storage with 2 shelves inside the door. I do wish the MFR would take a moment to label the pieces which would save quite a bit of time trying to match up the parts with the directions. Overall, easy to put together, definately helpful with 2 people & patience! Instructions were clear after we figured out the pieces. [...]
