The BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Active has the same excellent features as the companys other best selling carriers with greater support for your back and shoulder while being kind to the environment with the added feature of the carrier being made from organically grown cotton. Designed for you to carry your child comfortably for longer periods of time, designed padded shoulder straps work together with the built-in lumbar support to direct the baby's weight away from your shoulders, reducing strain and providing comfortable support for your back to distribute weight evenly. Use the scale on the label to adjust the sliding buckle to baby's height. Easy adjustments are all made from the front, allowing you to put baby in the carrier and adjust the fit and headrest. The front also opens completely so you can remove a sleeping baby without waking him/her. Provides excellent support for your baby's back and head, and helps keep baby's legs and arms in a physiologically correct position. Adjustable head support for individual fit and can be folded down so your child can face forward. Accommodates babies from 8to26 lbs

I have used this carrier many times since having my baby 4 months ago. She's just starting to sit in it facing forewards. It's very well made, comfortable, and easy to use. Both my husband and I can wear it since it's easily adjustable. We took it with us to St. Thomas too. It's been a lifesaver at street fairs and art exhibits, show houses and even when I want to make dinner. It frees you up so well!

The only drawback is that it's made with somewhat heavy canvas material that's simply too hot for both me and the baby in these southern summers. I am going to look for a lightweight sling or carrier that works better in these 100-degree temperatures.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I'm not completely sold on this item. It seems very complicated to me, with straps flapping about. Although helpful throughout the airport, this is not convenient and will have to be returned.

I received this at my baby shower and I couldn't wait until my little one was eight pounds to test it out. After the first day of use your aching because your body needs to get used to it. I love it and so does my little one.
