For ages 12-18 months: Sit with your child and show her the different scenes point to the objects and name them (This is a duck. This is a sheep. This is a cloud). Describe the scenes that take place on each page. Then you can ask her to describe a scene.

I bought this toy for my daughter when she was 2 months old and she was extremely captivated by the "magic wand" like sound and children laughing. Everytime she heard the noise when I turned on the book she would smile and squeal out of excitement and her face would light up. I would then go page by page and she would actually turn the pages and smile! Now she is 6 months old and I put her on tummy and let her turn the pages which keeps her entertained. Very good toy and happy I purchased this. I wish I could find the other Tiny love book but can't! Great memories with my baby from this book! :)

Purchased this for our daughter. She is 1 years old. It looked and sounded really cool. I was disappointed when we got it. The book does not even tell a story. There are no words in the book. The book is touch and feel, so that was a plus. It makes sounds which was nice. But there's only one sound per page. It doesn't play music, which was disappointing also.

I would not recommend this book. I think you can do MUCH better, especially at $25.00.

In theory this is a nice creative toy but my problem with it is that its color is too dull. The sounds are great but it doesn't catch my 4-month baby's attention as I expected I guess because the colors are not vibrant and does not hold her attention for long.

Another thing I don't like about it is that the fairy doesn't have a magnet that will make it stick to its position so it's a little hard to play with when you're both lying down and you're holding it up for the baby on the bed.

I bought this for my 6 month old daughter for Christmas and she enjoys it. She likes how the butterfly on the wand is crinkly and when she does get around to putting the wand on the right spot she likes the sound it makes. All it does is makes sounds though, there's no talking or interactive "Put the wand over the frog" stuff, so that was a little disappointing to me.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
