Recently finished our basement and wanted a corner designated to the grandkids. Rather than getting "kiddie" furniture, this beautiful espresso table-and-chairs set matches the other grownup furniture nearby, only pint-sized! :)

My little guy just turned one and we have a small house. He is slowly taking over and I was looking for a table and chairs set that would look nice in the house and be useful without taking up too much space. When I first saw this set I was nervous about the stools versus chairs and I was unable to find any reviews about sets with stools. We decided to go with the set and it is proving to be wonderful. My little guy can get up and down off of the stools on his own and the stools are great; he can get on the stool and spin on the seat to face the table. He does not have to try to scoot a chair up to the table on carpet. The stools without backs are not a problem at all; he sits at his center of balance and does not lean back to rest on a back. After seeing it in use, I prefer the stools over chairs. The one thing that I would change is that I wish that the stools were closer to the ground but this will only allow longer use as he gets older. The table also looks great. It is modern and stylish while the stools push all of the way under the table for space saving. The best part is that he feels like a champ sitting at "his" table. Great purchase! Love the stools!

We have a small house, so I searched and searched for a "table and chairs" set the would look nice in the house and be a space saver. My little guy just turned one and I was also nervous about the stools versus chairs. I was unable to find any reviews about the stools but decided to go with the table set anyways. The set is super stylish and compact. The stools push all the way under the table when not in use and my little guy can get up and down off of the stools on his own. The stools have actually proven to be beneficial. He can get up on the stool and spin on the seat to face the table; he doesn't have to try to sit on a chair and scoot it up to the table on the carpet. The stools not having a back has not been a problem. He sits at his center of balance and does not lean back to rest against the back of a chair. The one setback is that I wish that the table and stools were a bit lower to the ground, but I guess that this will allow for plenty of use as he grows. Overall, a great, modern purchase. My little guy feels like a champ just sitting at it!
