This is a great toy. It's a very challenging labyrinth which will take you hours to master, but the challenge is so much fun, you'll just keep going at it. My high schoolers love to try to solve this, and will keep trying and trying, as the challenge is so extreme, yet the satisfaction of getting through it is really rewarding. This is definitely for high-school-age kids through adults, though bright and patient middle schoolers will also enjoy the challenge. Definitely not age appropriate for 3-6 yr olds as mentioned on the website. There are a number of youtube videos to help through the difficult steps, which is good news for the person that needs hints to get through the maze; the website for the toy itself ([@]) is not too helpful.

    My son received this for his 6th bday. I was shocked at how entertaining it was for him, my younger son and even my husband! The boys sit there for long stretches trying to get the ball around the maze! Well worth the $ and this could become my new "go-to gift" for others! Great fun & such a great way to challenge their little minds.

                  our 11 yr. old son with Asperger's syndrome along with our other 2 sons, 10 and 7, absolutely love this toy
                  my 11 year old has completely mastered it
                  we took it camping with us and the other kids 8 & 9 really liked it too-
                  i actually didn't think it would keep my kids attention but a family member gave it as a gift and my 3 were arguing over who's turn it was to play Perplexus --we can't wait to get the Epic Perplexus but it looks like it could be April 19th or later before it will be in stores
