i bought this for my daughter to rock and feed her new baby and she loves it. the seat is wider than some other gliders so it is very comfortable. the material is soft. love how material wraps over the arms of the chair for added comfort.

This set is about as comfortable as you'd expect at this price point. We couldn't afford the higher quality glider we really wanted, so we settled on this. After a year, it creaks a little and the seat cushion has lost its volume, but it still beats sitting in a hardwood rocker. In other words, it does the job. Just don't expect to be wowed.

I never write reviews about products but I feel so strongly about this I am going to take the time to write so that I can hopefully save someone else the hassle of dealing with this piece of junk.

Do not buy this glider - not in any color, the construction of this glider is so poor!
The springs fly out when you sit on them. Not joking.
Im an average weight person (maybe 180 tops) and I sit in the chair to nurse my daughter daily. The springs have popped out on several occasions. My husband has tried to fix it multiple times and still not working.

Now, Storkcraft is also a terrible company to work with. They are not even in the United States so you have trouble getting in touch with someone.

Now they tell me Im out of the 1 year warranty - I havent even had the chair for a year! But because it was manufactured a year again, that makes no sense. I want a new base to my chair and I will fight for it. (even though Id rather just throw the whole thing away)

Go for the more expensive rocker you'll be glad that you did.

I registered and received this chair as a baby shower gift from my parents. It wasn't available in stores so I could only register for it based on looks and price. I just put it together without the help of my husband in no time and couldn't be happier. The cushion material is soft and comfortable it glides nice and now I just can't wait for my son to arrive so I can sit with him in it. The hardest part of putting it together were the snaps for the arm cushions(my thumbs hurt..lol)

We bought this glider (NOT the ottoman) in Summer 2005. Ours has held up wonderfully! Only had it steam-cleaned by Stanley Steemer one time.

First, it came with a deffective snap button, which I was able to replace. Few days after I assembled it, two of the springs came out. I'm going to return it. So not happy with my purchase.

I had this product for 1 week when the springs fell out. I thought I was able to fix it but was not. This product is not a good product.

We bought this glider hoping for a winner but unfortunately we were wrong. We bought this model after trying a more expensive brand. The expensive one had a very loud click while gliding. Not the best for a sleeping baby. Now after buying this we are stuck with junk.
Things that make it junk are:
Very poor finish. Some spots on the wood did not even have any.
The spindles on the back rest were not glued in and rattled the entire time of use until I glued them.
There is a streak of green paint down the back of the chair.
Some of the wood that does have finish on it unfortunately has a very ugly stamp on the wood. Some sort of Chinese writing.

Over all this chair has a good price point and and smooth glide but it is very hard to out weight the poor overall quality of this product.

Not too hard to put together, ottoman comes already done. Looks beauiful & matches the higher quailty of my couture nursery. I recommend this set, especially for the price.
