Your precious cargo can rest safely while traveling in Peg Peregos Primo Viaggio SIP 30 30, which provides the added security of Side Impact Protection. The seat, newly designed for babies up to 30 pounds or 30 inches, has an exclusive Confort Dry pad, designed to keep baby safe and dry. The extra wide safety-padded wings add even more protection to babys head. Parents can use the Primo Viaggio SIP with or without the base, and it is safety tested for use in automobiles as well as airplanes. The seat locks into the base of all Peg Perego strollers and is available to match every new Peg Perego stroller collection. This seat is easy to use with one-hand adjustment of the 5 point restraint belt system, as well as an all new quick release buckle. The Primo Viaggio also offers a one hand release from the base or stroller. The hood and the handle are both adjustable. Peg Peregos Primo Viaggio meets all NHTSA standards and is made in Italy.

I bought this carseat when i found out i was pregnant with my daughter Ellie, it looked nice and got good ratings. once i started using it, it was way too heavy and bulky. Ellie didnt seem to comfty in it either... after using it for 2 months i switched to a graco snugride 35, and will never go back. i highly recomend graco! cute prints, afforable and so much better!!!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I agree with the previous reviewer. The color is not as advertised. Even looking at the same product on other websites, it always shows it as a teal and cream, but it's actually navy and cream/tan. Not a deal breaker though. However, I would buy a different infant car seat if I could do it over again. For the money, I'm just not that thrilled with this product. It's very heavy. Even without a baby in it. Now, that might be a safety feature, but it's still something to consider for smaller framed moms like me. Also, I often struggle to get it off of the base. You have to pull the bar just right to get it off. I wanted a car seat that would work with the Valco Baby Tri-Mode stroller, but I think I would have been happier with the Chicco. I really wanted a product made or tested in Europe since they have higher safety standards, so I at least feel good about it being a safe product for my daughter. However, I'm looking forward to when she outgrows it so I can put it away!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It's a great product, however the let down is in the photograph. It appears to be a bright blue and light cream color. The photo is not the actual color. It shows lighter than it truly is. Actual color is Navy Blue and Tan.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
