I am surprised to read the negative reviews for this product - I registered for this travel system and absolutely love it! I wanted a travel system that was light weight and easy to use. The stroller is missing some of the amenities, such as a snack bar, but it is 12 pounds lighter than the other travel system strollers. I have been using both items for over 10 weeks and they are very sturdy and of high quality. The car seat is heavier than most, but I am willing to deal with the weight to know that my child is safe while traveling in the vehicle. The car seat does not 'snap' into the stroller, but it does attach easily and quickly. I am always complimented on the system, which is a nice bonus. I would strongly recommend this item to others that want a light weight, high quality travel system.

All peg peregos infant car seats are heavy & cumbersome to put in & out of the car. My infant cries the entire time she is in the car seat. Also, I had a c-section & can't carry an 11 lb car seat containing an 8 lb child. Car seats need to be LIGHT! Greco weighs 6.5 lbs. The stroller section heavy as well doesn't fit well with the car seat, is cumbersome to open & close. I have the item, but I carry my infant in my arms when I go out. I wish I could get rid of this piece of junk! PS I don't think that 4 lbs of decorative plastic makes it a safer car seat.

I had searched everywhere for a stroller that had a seat that turned around into a carriage and laid FLAT. I finally purchased the Pliko Switch, and I LOVE it. I love looking at and talking to my baby when I am shopping or going on a stroll. I can change my son's diaper, he can drink a bottle, and he sleeps comfortably since it lays FLAT. We are on the go a lot, so I wanted a stroller that was big and comfy. We have taken it to Disney World twice; it was easy to fold and carry on the buses. Yes, the infant seat is heavy, but remember, when you are looking for a CAR seat for your baby, don't you want it to be HEAVY and SAFE for the CAR? When I run errands I attach the infant car seat to the chassis, that eliminates the "heavy car seat complaint." My son is 12 months and 20 pounds and is still in it. Sure his feet hang off the end, but I know he is SAFE! Not to mention, when he is sleeping in his car seat I can still attach it to the chassis when I run my errands without waking him up. I have recommended this stroller to anyone who listens. My sister bought one and loves it as well!

I got the car seat as a baby shower gift, which I had requested, what intrigued me most was the design, color scheme, reputation & overall look! I must say the car seat isn't bad, however it is heavy! I underwent a c-section & lifting anything heavy was to be avoided. already a challenge since my baby weighed near 10 pounds, w/ him in the car seat I could almost never carry it myself. With that being said my baby is 3 months now & he's almost outgrown the car seat! it's supposed to hold up to 1 year or 30pounds whichever comes first... he's 15 pounds now & his feet constantly hit the silver plate where the belt adjusts & he doesn't like to be in there for too long... the stroller part I've only used the frame to attach the car seat thus far becuz he doesn't fit in the carriage just yet.. however it looks nice & closes very quickly, easily & is compact but only after having it 2 months it squeaks & is rickety already! The wheels get stuck & it isn't as smooth & glides easy as most of these updates strollers today which is what I had expected.. I have to purchase another stroller already.. & very soon another car seat.. I would say if ur baby is on the light side 5-7 pounds etc then maybe this will work out better for you.. however if your baby is on the bigger end this may not be the best choice…

Best travel system ever! The fact that the seat switches around makes it all worth it. It is a little heavy, but having my child in a sturdy car seat/stroller is worth that extra weight. Beautiful design!

i cant stant this carseat or the stroller! the carseat is really bulky and very heavy. i got it at my baby shower other wise i would of taken it back! i think [$] is alot to ask for a carseat and stroller when u can go buy a chicco for less. my baby girl dosnt seem happy in it either :(
