The Dr. Brown's BPA Free Polypropylene Newborn Feeding Set offers a wonderful feeding experience with innovative vent technology. Dr Brown's bottles use a patented 2-piece internal vent system for your baby's comfort. This system creates positive-pressure flow for vacuum-free feeding that is similar to breastfeeding. The breast milk or formula flows freely without nipple collapse. As the baby feeds, air is channeled from the Level One nipple collar through the vent system to the back of the bottle. Air never mixes with the breast milk or formula so oxidation is prevented, thereby maintaining essential vitamins such as C, A and E. The vent system eliminates air bubbles in the formula or milk, which helps to reduce feeding problems like colic, spit-up, burping and gas.

Includes: three 8 oz wide neck bottles, two 4 oz wide neck bottles, 5 Level One silicone nipples, 2 Level Two silicone nipples, five 2-piece internal vents, 2 storage/travel caps, 3 cleaning brushes and instructions.

2-piece internal vent system

The fully-vented bottle reduces vacuums so your baby can quickly access the milk or formula in a method similar to breastfeeding. This positive-pressure feeding system channels air through the Level One nipple collar to the back of the bottle, keeping it separate you’re your baby's food.


Prevents oxidation of nutrients

By keeping air separate from the milk or formula, the Dr. Brown's bottles reduce oxidation for a nutrient-rich feeding experience. The system helps maintain vitamins C, A and E to keep your baby healthy.


Reduces unpleasant feeding problems

The unique vent system also prevents the ingestion of air bubbles. It eliminates negative pressure and air bubbles to help reduce colic, spit-up, burping and gas.


Comprehensive set

This set comes with a total of five 8 oz. and 4 oz. wide-neck bottles, so you can always have a Dr. Brown's bottle handy. The set also includes various silicone nipples so you can find the best fit for your baby. Keep the bottles at home, take them on trips or leave them in the diaper bag. We tried another brand of bottles with our twin newborns for the first 4 weeks and we're not satisfied. One of our twin boys has reflux which was another factor for trying a different bottle that would help him. We chose Dr. Brown's bottles and they have help him with his reflux and have been welcomed by both boys. The only negative is that the nipples are numbered for stages of their growth and are a bit difficult to read. Other than that, I would highly recommend them for their quality. Also, would recommend the Dr. Brown's bottle warmer. Love it!

You MUST tighten the bottle to ensure no leaking!!!
Might not be suitable for a newborn. Might want to wait until around 3mths. My baby was very difficult to feed, because most nipples just flowed too quickly for him, including this one in the beginning. He was not able to tolerate the flow of the level 1 nipple until he was about 10wks old. This bottle does appear to greatly eliminate gassiness. The times I've used this (because I alternate using this bottle with another brand), he doesn't need to burp as much. It's great for accurate measurement of the intake. I would recommend to a friend, but would suggest other bottles as well.

Bottles are fantastic! My little one, surprisingly, did not do well with the standard Dr. Brown's, but these wide neck are fantastic! They help reduce how much she spits up, and she is much happier after feedings without all the air in her tummy!

    Just do not fill above line to prevent leaking. There are only two extra pieces that attached to help reduce the amount of gas the little one takes in which equal a happy baby.It is great that a lid comes with the bottles for travel use. It is not hard at all to clean.

        I used the 4 oz bottles with Level 1 nipple of this set when introducing my 3 week old to bottle feeding (for times when I wasn't around to breastfeed). The wideneck bottles truly resemble the breast; my newborn (whom was exclusively breast-fed) was able to drink from the bottle with no issues. The bottles are easy to clean (I had my doubts initially bc of the several components inside the bottle that are unique to the Dr. Browns brand). My only complaint is that the set does not come in pink. :( There are other bottle sets from Dr. Brown that come in pink; I was hoping to have all of the bottles in the girly pink for my baby girl. This set in particular is a good value considering price and what you get, so I decided to still get them despite that they were blue.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                After using Munchkin Latch bottles for 2 month, I had reached my limit with leaky bottles and a fussy baby due to gas. Dr. Browns bottles have been a lifesaver. No more crying over spilled milk on the way to childcare, and my baby has a significantly lower amount of gas. I should have gone with these first!

                I am a fan of the dr.brown bottles. Buyer beware you cant over fill the bottle, follow the bottle instructions. If you do not follow instructions you run the risk of possible milk leakage all over you baby.

                  Use them daily, easy to clean with dishwasher basket or hot soapy water and a good bottle brush. No gassy tummy problems (OBVIOUSLY you do still need to 'burp' your baby after a feeding). Great for both breastmilk and formula. Only downside I encountered was trying to mix formula and the travel cap doesn't keep nipple from leaking. Might leak if you don't seal lid properly. Just had to put my finger over nipple to prevent spill.
