Like the reviews say, these won't work for everyone but they worked for me. I was not able to wear a bra because my nipples and breasts were so painful (it lasted about 8 weeks). I stuck these on my shirt and wrapped the shirt tight enough so that the gel pads would not fall off (otherwise you do need a bra to hold these things in place). I reused them time and time again and it was fine (I forget what the suggestion for maximum use was but I went over it). I believe I got a way with 2 boxes, so 4 gel pads, until the pain finally went away.

I love this product. Have used it with two pregnancies now, and plan to use it with my 3rd as well. I cut each pad into 4 triangles to get more use out of them. Plus, that way the price doesn't seem quite so bad. They last for more than one day, too. I especially love these because I'm allergic to lanolin, so these are a great alternative to relieve pain and help prevent cracking the first few weeks of nursing.

I was looking for pad just to absorb the milk i leaked in between pumping and this is all The Wal had. The gel felt nice and stayed in place but once night fall came and i started leaking they served no purpose. I woke up to a soaked tank top and bed sheet. So if you leak alot this is not for you.

These are OK. The best thing about them is that they prevent that uncomfortable friction between your nipples and your shirt. However, I don't feel like they stick very well - the only way they stay on securely is if you're wearing a tightly-fitting bra, and the whole idea here is that my nipples are sore, I would rather NOT wear a bra just to hold in some pads! Also, I accidentally dropped them on the floor, and naturally they landed gel side down, and apparently you can't even rinse them with water? I don't get it. They're alright, if you're desperate, but it's certainly not a solid solution.

I used these the first several weeks of nursing. They really helped, especially during the first few days when my nipples were at their most sensitive and sorest instead of using regular nursing pads. They seem really cool even without putting them in the fridge. I didn't have any leaks or problems with them but I didn't have to use them once my milk really got established and my let down stronger.

I bought three packets of these pads yesterday, in desperation, thinking they'd be like the medela ones I'd been given at the hospital (the shop I went to didn't have the medela ones). My nipples were super sore and I thought these'd be soothing. Well, it was a mistake. As soon as I put them on my nipples started having an awful sensation of burning. It was unbearable and I had to take the pads off right away. I went online to check people's opinions on these pads to see if other women had had the same problem or if it was just an allergic reaction I was having. A the [@] page many of the reviews were negatives and many women complained if the same burning sensation. I wish I'd read those reviews before buying the pads. I'll go back to the local store and return them tomorrow.

It worked when i had some irritation from pumping on one of my nipples, but you can only re-use for 48-72 hours or until the gel is soaked with milk. i cant remember the exact time but i wanted something i could refreeze and use multiple times. good if your in a jam and need something asap.

I'm keeping these in my bra all the time, as my baby is only 10 days old. They only provide cooling relief for a minute or two, but the cushion they provide is what helps most. My nipples are pretty sore to the touch and they completely reduce the friction with my bra. I don't actually know how I survived breastfeeding my first daughter without them. So expensive though, I actually got one set in a gift registry bag and another set from the Hospital.

This product is wonderful to help with soreness and pain during the first few weeks of establishing breastfeeding. They feel cool and soothing to the nipple and are reusable. They do not stick tightly so there is no pain with the multiple removal and reattaching.

These things are beyond awesome! I took these to the hospital with me and I'm soooo glad I did! Your nipples get used and abused alot during the first couple of weeks and having the soothing coolness is such a relief! I wish they didn't cost as much as they do, but I'm sure glad I splurged. I also wish you didn't have to wipe off your breasts before feeding. It's a little bit of a hassle when you have a crying baby who wants to be fed this instant!
