The pictures on BRU website don't do the stroller justice. They don't show the product in fully reclined position which makes it comparable to the bugaboo and bumbleride strollers. If you want to get to know more about this product I suggest going on the peg perego site or checking out the tutorial on [@]. One major downfall - I had to get a replacement because the snaps of the footmuff were not working. Make sure they work properly before you decide to keep it.

I was debating between a few different strollers- Uppababy Vista, Bugaboo...
I ended up with this for a few reasons- I like that I did not have to carry around different attachments it converts with a couple zips, it can face both ways, I am 5'8 and I don't hit my feet on the stroller, It lays completely back, and the basket holds a lot.

Cons: Cup holder sucks but not a huge deal, it can be tricky to steer in the newborn position, wish the canopy was bigger, also it is on the heavy side.

But compared to the other two strollers I loved the fact that this stroller grew with my baby and there was no extra pieces. If you are looking at the Uppababy you will notice it has a bar where the feet are suppose to hit, my daughter is very long so I can see this being a problem when she is a toddler and being TOO long for the stroller.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We had the Venezia for our first two kids and used it almost daily until it finally fell apart after about six years. This is essentially the same stroller and I'm sure we'll love it just as much. It has a bigger basket than the previous model, is lighter, and seems sturdier overall. The drink holder is a nice touch although it doesn't seem to stay on very well when there's no drink in it. My two main complaints are the color and the turning issue. You would think something called "java" would be dark brown...nope, it's black and silver. Which I can live with, but I had a hard time discerning the color from the picture online and it just wasn't what I thought I was getting. And I love how they advertise "unique zero-radius turning" as if it's a plus. It isn't. It's a pain and makes the stroller more difficult to maneuver, but I figure it's temporary as we won't be using the stroller in carriage mode for very long. So again, I can live with it. I just wish they'd made the back wheels so they could swivel. I love how easy the stroller is to fold and the different options for keeping the baby warmer/more covered. The cloth covers and harness straps are very high quality and easy to keep clean.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

it's really difficult to steer in the carriage position b/c the big wheels don't swivel. I'm hoping to get used to it eventually.
