I bought this for my 19 month old granddaughter and she loves it. She is comfortable with the key pad and as she grows her parents will purchase more advanced apps for this.

Very fun little machine. My 2 year old loves it. It is a nice distraction for car rides and its educational. At first I did not think that personalizing the device was of much worth. After spending a few minutes doing it and giving it back to my kid i saw that I was wrong. I would recommend this toy to any parent.

I bought this for my two year old son about two months and you can't see the screen well, it is too dark. This would definitely be better if the screen was lit like a regular laptop. Other than that, no problems. He can only play with it in well lit areas and even then it's hard to see.

Got CRAYONS instead. Would cost ME $18.00 to ship back. On hold for 20 mins. Threw them in the trash can!!!! Never ever ever again.

My 2 year old son has been using this since he was 17 months old. We bought it for him last Christmas. He LOVES it. It will occupy him for a long time on car rides. It has also helped to teach him the alphabet and what each letter looked like, so that he can now point out all the letters of the alphabet. He also loves to repeat the names of the animals that correspond to the letters, and play around with the music sounds. The only thing that's irritating sometimes is that the screen is kind of dark; he can see it fine in the light, but it does not light up.

All around, it's been a good purchase for us.

My son had this two years before he gave it much attention, but now that he is 4 and attending preschool, he loves it! It is reinforcing the letters and things he is learning at school, and he has a lot of fun with the music features. He also loves that it says his name and that it sends him messages, he gets a huge smile each time he pushes those buttons. Overall great product, glad I didnt put it in the yard sale pile during the years of disinterest, I think he was just too young for it until now. Very long battery life-- don't think we've ever changed them!

This is basically the same toy as the LeapFrog Text and Learn but in a different shape and with fewer features. The keyboard is not QWERTY, which makes it pretty boring for my two-year-old. There is an "email" activity, but you can't actually type a message on this laptop, as you can with the texting toy. You're better off buying the texting toy, or just letting your child type on your own computer.

My baby loves electronics, so I was interested in buying him a nice "laptop" like mommy's. It teaches him his letters, the pronunciation, and animal names that start with that letter. You can also personalize it to your child's name and select email messages and songs to play. He gets a thrill when he receives an email from mommy and it even sings a song with his name. Overall, I have yet to find a better learning device at such a wonderful price. He never lets it go!

My child has had this toy for over 6 months and every time he sees it for the first time in the day he has the biggest smile on his face. It keeps him busy and entertained til I have to take it away from him! He dances and babbles to the music and loves pressing the "you got email" button. The personalization is awesome and he enjoys hearing his name. I loved this one so much I bought my niece one and she is just as addicted as my lil one. Great toy! Highly recommended.
