      This toy is a backpack only in name; it only has a tiny pouch in it. However, it is an excellent likeness of Mario, and once my middle son had one, our baby daughter had to have one too! They carry them around everywhere (we allow them to) - not anywhere dirty as they have slept with them from day one. Great toy, sturdy thus far - about 2 weeks out. It can be worn as a backpack, on the back, or just played with as a doll.
