The Chicco KeyFit Infant Car Seat is designed for safety, comfort and convenience. With its removable newborn insert, the KeyFit Car Seat will accommodate your baby from 4 to 30 lbs. The carrier's thickly cushioned seat includes a 5-point safety harness and is lined with energy-absorbing foam for increased safety and comfort.


On the level


The KeyFit Infant Car Seat base is designed for fast, secure installation. The spring-assisted level foot easily adjusts to fit the slope of the seats in your vehicle. The bubble level indicator on each side of the seat helps you install the seat correctly on either side of your car.


Ready to roll


The KeyFit Car Seat fits securely onto the Cortina Stroller so you can take your newborn on walks as soon as you're both ready. Once your child is big enough, place him or her directly into the stroller for your outings.


Adjustable for baby and you


The Cortina Stroller is made to be comfortable for baby and convenient for you. It features a multiposition, flat-recline seat with Memory Recline that keeps the seat's recline angle even when folded. You can also adjust the height of the stroller handle by pushing in the side buttons and pivoting the handle to the position most comfortable for you.


A place for everything


The Cortina Stroller features a large storage basket under the seat so you can bring along baby's essentials. There's also a cup holder and storage space for your essentials at the top of the stroller and a removable snack tray with cup holders for your child.

The Cortina Stroller features 1-hand folding action and an automatic storage latch. Im expecting my first babay in Dec and really was interested in this system based on consumer reports. When I started looking at it online I saw customers reviews complained endlessly about the inability to use the bottom basket once the seat is in the all the way down position as it would be when using it with the car seat. So before placing this system on my registry I went to the store and REALLY put this system through a test drive. First thing I learned is to read carefully not every Keyfit uses the Keyfit 30 carseat, which is what I wanted. Second theres no problem reaching and using the basket when the carseat is snapped in. Do you have as much room as when its just the stroller- no. But you can absolutley get into and out of it easy. Next I really wanted to be able to use a snap and go stroller frame the first few weeks after delievry. So I emailed Chicco customer service and found out that although they dont make one so "offically" cant endorse one they said that the Baby trend Snap and Go frame does hold the Chicco Keyfit 30 very safely. Of course I had to take that down off the display load the car seat into it and try to get it to shake or come loose. It didnt even budge. And I made my 6'5 bull in a china shop fiance try as while. I left the store more then satisfied with this system and on the registry it went cant wait for it and my new baby girl to arrive.

Ps I took a picture of the basket access with the seat all the way reclined. Decide for yourself :)

DO NOT BUY THIS STROLLER!! Where do I even begin? The first problem we are experiencing is that one of the wheels on the stroller is now making a squeaky/rattling sound after only 6 months of use. The second is back of the seat is slightly tilted, this had not become an issue until recently because my daughter is now beginning to sit in the seat. We have tried adjusting the fabric, but it did not help the tilit. The third issue is the stroller is very large when collapsed, and is not very user friendly. We have a newer Honda Civic which has tons of trunk space and this stroller takes almost 3/4 of the trunk. If you have a small trunk forget about it!! You have to sit the seat up completely before lowering the handle bars, only then can you collapse stroller. The fourth issue is our car seat can be very hard to remove from the base, a lot of the time I have to repeatedly lower and pull up the car seat before it releases. It is almost as if the release lever gets jammed. The fifth issue is the most concerning, there have been several times we put our daughter's seat into the base and will hear the snaps, then while driving will hear yet another snap almost as if it did not snap in fully or is lifting and snapping again. The sixth issue is when the infant seat is snapped in there is NOOO room to put anything in the lower basket! Being an active mother of two this is a major problem! The problems just go on and on. We are now dealing with Chicco's customer service which has been a joke! Save the yourself the frustration and do NOT buy this stroller!

The colors are really cute and you can't beat the support of this carseat for newborns and small babies, the only problem I have with it is that the carseat is really heavy, I kind of wish they just made this one with the smaller carseat that has the lower weight limit. My baby is really little for her age (not even on the growth chart for her age) and the carseat is still really heavy. Also, as other people have said the basket in the stroller is impossible to use when you have the seat laid down all the way, which you have to do to put the carseat in it. But I just use a mommy clip and hang my bag on the handle so that's ok. My stroller feels kind of wobbly, it was a floor model at the store so I don't know if they put it together wrong at the store or what.. But overall for the safety and support of the Chicco infant carseats I would buy this one again, and recommend it to others as well.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love this product! The front adjust is so easy to make sure my daughter is correctly installed in it! I love how easy the pads wipe clean! The latch on the base is so easy to install using the latch! We own 4 different car seats and by far this is the easiest to install with latch! The stroller is so sturdy and deffinately high quallity. My only complaints are that when using the car seat in the stroller you can hardly fit anything in the storage basket underneath! Also, installing the car seat in a middle seat with a seat belt is pretty hard to get a tight instal without a lock in clip. The only other con I have is that when buying at keyfit 30 you think your getting a better deal than the keyfit 22 because it holds a higher weight, but in reality they height limit is the same and most babies will reach the height limit before the weight, so the extra money for the 30 is really useless

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Overall this is a great, safe travel system. We had great use of both items. The car seat is very heavy, especially when you infant gets heavier. The biggest con I have regarding the system is the stroller. The seat does not sit upright. The seat is always at a reclining mode. The other con is when you're using the car seat in the stroller the below basket is impossible to use. You can get anything in or out of it. Other than that I would purchase this system again.

    I absolutely loved this travel system. I had my first daughter in November last year and love the way she fits in it and love the colors. It is so easy to clean and travels perfectly. Love the stroller as well because you can unfold it one handed and is so easy to access. Will never use a different brand!

    I use this Product At least 5x a week. Its so nice. It drives like a Cadillac. It goes over bumps awesomely and I can steer it with one hand as well. Its very smooth. The things i dont like about it though, is the basket [kinda to small for me] and the visor part, i find that it doesn't keep the sun out of my daughters eyes at all, no matter how i position it. [might be because im short] I love how the head rest is small enough for smaller babies and the one hand adjustable car seat release for the harness, great addition. Overall, i love this product.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      This travel system was so hard to find online or in stores anywhere! I was thrilled when it was finally back in stock..it was just in time for our Princess, since she came a little early. We love the colors, it doesn't look or feel cheap. Easy to install in the car and NOTHING to assemble. It was expensive, but I would pay for it again for the convenience and quality for our little angel!!

        I absolutely LOVE my travel system. My friend gave it to me and my daughter is the 3rd baby to use it but you'd never know. It looks brand new and is WAY nicer than a cheap Graco seat. I've noticed the Chicco seats are much nicer built and just overall look and perform better in my opinion. I would strongly suggest this to anyone having a baby. The stroller very easily folds out. I can hold my daughter and diaper bag and still unfold the stroller. It's literally one button to unfold! Overall I am completely satisfied and absolutely love it!!!!

        Very DURABLE! This was my first travel system and I used it with all my 3 children for 6 years straight. The padding is easy to remove and wash from both the stroller and car seat. We travel a lot on airplanes and the stroller did its justice getting bad-handled on the luggage carriers on the bottom of the airplanes. The only thing I don't like it's that the car seat doesn't provide full sun coverage, but then again their is no perfect stroller/car seat!

        Overall this seat is much more lightweight than the Graco seats (and we used Graco for 3 of our babies recently). The seat is very well padded and the infant inserts were very helpful in cradling our tiny 5 lb daughter. At 10 months she's still using the headrest with no problems, the infant insert came out at around 12 pounds or so. My husband said installation of the base was much easier than the Graco that we had previously used.

        I have taken the seat apart twice now and washed the padding. It's VERY snug getting it off of the foot area of the seat, and goes back on very snugly as well, but other than that it's a piece of cake.

        The seat fits into the stroller with no issues, however to use it as a travel system, you have to have the stroller seat completely reclined which eliminates the ability to access the storage area.

        The stroller is VERY easy to push, and I love the ability to adjust the height of the handle. Folding is a breeze thanks to the one-hand fold. You just have to make sure that the front wheels are in line with the stroller so that it all goes together.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        We put our system together last weekend and so far we are very impressed, the quality seems very durable. I was very impressed with the added cushion in the car seat for newborns (which can be removed once no longer needed) and how simple it was to to snap in and snap out the car seat from the Key Fit 30 base. Our daughter is due May 20th so we are excited to use our travel system and I will make updates on my review.
