We bought for our son when he was three years old in Washington state. I was very skeptical after reading the reviews. Got the extended 15 month warranty when we purchased it. We have zero problems with this toy. My son rides this most days for 1 to 2 hours 3 to 5 times a week since we got it. We put Duracell batteries in it when we bought it and just had to change the batteries for the first time last month. He is very hard on this toy. I always worry the connection cord is going to go out from all of the stepping on it but nothing so far. As he has grown he appreciates different things about the games so they have grown with him. We were also worried he was going to grow out of it in short amount of time. Not a problem. My son turned 5 in march and is 4 feet tall and is still comfortable on this. This is one of the best active toys we have bought for my son. Especially in the winter months when he can't get outside as much. Highly recommend. Only giving it 4 stars because the games are a little pricey. But I have found them cheaper online.

This was given to my son as a gift for Christmas and immediately as soon as it was hooked up to the tv there were problems with it shorting out. The batteries were brand new so battery life was not an issue. My son will beat on the handle bars for the picture to come back on the tv and it usually works. He still plays it despite the picture coming in and out. My nieces also got one as a gift and their's has not worked either. All the kids use it as a stationary bike or pretend to fix it. I'm not sure how much longer we'll keep it after just one day, unfortunately.

After using the Fisher Price smart cycle racer for only about one month, when my daughter would try to use it, it would shut itself off after about 3 minutes. I replaced the batteries but that did not help the problem. I called the Fisher Price Company and complained but they did not offer a refund. They said I could mail it back to them but I thought I would spend a lot in postage since it was so heavy. I ended up throwing it away.

My son got this for his 3rd birthday. we were so excited to try it out but it was a huge disappointment. at first it would turn off while we were playing it and after using it only a few times it doesnt work at all. when you put the game in it looks fine for about 30 sec then the screen goes black. I just called Fisher price to complain and they are sending me a refund.

The graphics are terrible. My grandson rarely played with it and it stopped working completely after nine months.

it worked for my twins maybe five times and then it kept freezing up, the graphics are terrible for 2012 it reminded me of the 1980's Atari!!! it was a complete waste of money and not to mention how much my twins were disappointed!!!

This is good in theory but it is incredibly touchy. The cartridges don't click in well and tend to lose the connection if the kids pedal fast. Also when the kids get going fast the bike doesn't seem to register the movement to the game itself and they lose interest in the game so it sits in our spare room and they use it as a stationary bike without the games. I'm glad that it was a Christmas gift from someone else and we weren't the ones who spent the money on it.

The product uses the old nintendo style game cartrigde. you constantly need set and reset the game cartridge. U need to blow into it like the old nintendo cartridge. The placement of the game cartidge is right between your childs legs. The slightest touch rests the game. When it does work the game graphics look as good as my 1981 atari. Shame in you Fisher Price. You have caused much pain and frustration with me and my 4 year old.

I didn't know there was a problem with this until I read reviews,I bought this for my 4 year old who is 5 now and her 3 year old brother.It's been great.They love it.I really never had any problems,except after a year I need to replace the batteries.I would buy this again.
