Product Description

Hiro Patchwork is one of your favorite Thomas & Friends large-sized engines, including their signature tenders. Each durable die-cast features magnet connectors that connect either way. Perfect for Take-n-Play™ Portable Fold-Out Playsets.

Since 1930, Fisher-Price has been in business to create toys that fascinate and stimulate a child's imagination. Fisher-Price was founded in 1930, hardly the best time to launch a new business as the shadows of the Depression still loomed over American business. Still, Herman Fisher, Irving Price and Helen Schelle combined their diverse manufacturing and retailing experience to create a toy company and confidently brought 16 wooden toys to the International Toy Fair in New York City. The whimsical nature and magical surprises of those first Fisher-Price toys quickly caught on and became the hallmarks of Fisher-Price ever since. Fisher-Price believes in the potential of children and in the importance of a supportive environment in which they can grow, learn, and get the best possible start in life. Fisher-Price supports today's families with young children through our breadth of products that includes GeoTrax, Imaginext, Little People, Laugh and Learn, Thomas the Tank, Thomas and Friends, Elmo, Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go, Sesame Street, Smart Cycle, Ni Hao Kai-Lan, Toy Story and other learning toys and pretend play items.

    Doesn't Fit Standard Tracks

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends Take Along Die-Cast Engine - Hiro Patchwork:

I bought this for my daughter to use with her Thomas the Train set but its too small for the tracks--the wheels are too close together so it can't move on the tracks. Also the picture is wrong--this is the patchwork Hiro, not the "repaired" Hiro.

The product itself is fine. i just didn't pay enough attention to the description to notice this is the Patchwork version. I thought I was getting the 'fixed' version of Hiro. They should have the right pictures.

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends Take Along Die-Cast Engine - Hiro Patchwork:

I am not an avid watcher of the Thomas shows/videos. I knew that my son wanted a black train so i ordered Hiro (as you can see, the picture is black)...turns out it is an obvious blue in color - dark blue... I guess my son's going to have to be told that Santa messed up on the black train. I wish the product description would have had the color clarified rather than assume that every purchaser knows who Hiro is!
