      This is Great for the kids to carry around , it is not to big and bulky,, Can be carried anywhere and be played anywhere.. My son just loves it.. He can play all day with it,cause it has a little train track part as well,, He has 2 other train depots that go with it..

          My son totally loves Thomas and he has a lot of trains and he would always want to take them along everywhere we went so when i saw this at the store i got it without thinking twice. It's a little pricey-- but not greatly. It holds about 9 trains in the 9 compartments and i love how it has a fold out train track; this keeps my son entertained while we are out. The only thing I disliked and checked out from other reviews is that the top is rather heavy so you might want to prop it up with something behind it while your kid uses the foldout track. Also, i have to carry the thing because with 9 trains in there it gets pretty heavy. But overall, great buy, good quality, and I recommend it for your little train lover.

              If your child loves Thomas The Train like my 4 year old son does this is something nice to have. The outer apperance is great & accuratte & it's nice that it can connect onto other Thomas train toy items. The one down fall is that you have to prop the back of the case up so it doesn't fall back, to be be able to use the track, I simply use a low truck/vehicle to prop it up for support. My son loves the fact that he can store his trains inside of Thomas :)

              Carries about 10 trains, but the fold out playset is disappointing. The storage side of the carrying case is too heavy to stay upright on it's own. So in order for my 2 yr old to play with the fold out part I have to prop it up against something so it won't fall over. We really just use it for transport not for the fold out part!
