RC cars in this price range should not be expected to last very long. With that said, for the speed this little guy delivers, its very durable and very fun. The lights are nice touch. I have a 3 and 6 year old and they both have a great time and no trouble running. transmitter controls are small and very intuitive compared to wheel and trigger models, which are better for adults. It has rubber tires as well, just enough grip to get going, but will also do spins. Only drawback is its not good for carpet or outdoors as its too low to the ground.

This is a very fast and fun RC! I got it for Christmas. Only problem it's a pain to get out of the box and batteries aren't included.

When my son saw this he loved it and wanted it for christmas, so i bought it, I also bought the knuckles one also. This race car broke down withing a few months. The lights worked but it would not run. The knuckles race car broke down on christmas day the first time my son used it. Do not spend $ on these race cars! Also you cannot use two of them at the same time cause they intefere with each other.

my son loved getting this for his birthday, but it broke after only a couple of uses. bought TOYS"R"US ' S "replacement plan" for an additional 3.99 dollars thinking the word replacement meant that if it broke then we could replace it with another. How wrong was I. Their replacement plan for items that are under a certain amont is really a reimbersment plan so beware of that. the toy itself is fast and fun, just not worth it

I do not plan on opening this product, because I am a collector. I'm sure this is like any other R/C car though..controls for gas/brake and turning. As far as displaying this piece, it's great. Especially if your into collecting Sega Allstars Racing themed items, or just Sonic in general. The box dimensions are Depth 5.5", Height 8", Length 13.5".

This is a really great toy for kids of all ages. I got it for my nephews who really love the recently released All Star racing video game, and this car is exactly like the one Sonic drives. The realistic working headlights get them really excited, and they are loving the fact that they can chase their mother through the house with it. Great handling, and can go really fast! The only problem I had with it is the fact that it requires 6 AA batteries to get it going. (4 for the car and 2 for the remote control) However, this is still a great toy. You really get your money's worth. Great for boys or girls because it's so sturdy.

My son got this for Christmas. It worked for less than 30 seconds and literally quit working! But he's a huge SONIC collector and loves it and he doesn't care that it does not work. 6yr old got this for christmas, he absolutely loves it,, he told me those exact words today, its cute and fast and my 3yr old is able to use it, we got the rc knuckles also so they get to race

My 7 year old son received this car for Christmas and he just loves it! It is easy to operate and goes a lot faster than most of his RC cars. He also loves the fact that the headlights light up when in use. The size was just right, was not disappointed. The only problem I see with it though is since it does go fast, it is easy to crash it into objects....after a day of crashes, one of the headlights is now a little dim compared to the other. Other than that I thought it was a great buy, perfect for any child who is a Sonic fan!!

I purchased this R/C for my 4 year old son and he seems to like it.. It was smaller then what I expected, but still a cool item. All-in-all: Cool and cute. a good R/C for indoors
