This is not just for kids, maybe thats why your not being satisfied. Size 1s are used by pros in the UK and other parts of the world. It is also used in a sport called futsal. It is used for practicing tricks. So yea it can be used by a kid, but it's not what it's made for. Hope this helped.

My boys kick this around the house. I know nothing about soccer - so I didn't realize the size. I thought it was a regular soccer ball, but its really small - hand size. I guess that's what "size 1" refers to - but I didn't know that : (

I bought these as "loot bags" for a bunch of tween boys we took to a soccer game. They were very popular. My kids use them indoors.

My three year old started this obsession with soccer but I didn't want to get her a huge ball. This promotional size ball is the perfect beginner size. It is small enough that my three year old little girl can kick it around. The ball is very sturdy and made well. I have no cause for complaint.
