The last Liv doll I bought (before this Katie) was a "Black Friday Special" reproduction of the first series. The quality of that doll was really shaky (if you encounter them, skip them). So, I had begun to lose a bit of faith in Liv and Spin Master.

But Toys R Us had these dolls on sale. So, I decided to chance it and bought her.

When I got her home, it took a while to de-box her, but it was worth it. Her joints are a little stiff, but she's very durable. Her wig is very cute--I just never have luck with keeping pig tails in. Actually brushing it to fix the part was pretty easy once the pig tails were down.

I actually love the face up on her! It's not too girly, which fits Katie's personality. Her lips are a very soft shade of pink, and her eye shadow is a yellow ocher color. The outfit is also fairly detailed--the hoodie even has real pockets.

Admittedly the elbow and knee pads are hard to get on and off, but the helmet (which is purple, by the way) is easy to get on. Posing her on the board is also difficult, but it's a nice prop!

Overall, I love this doll. She's restored my faith in Spin Master and the Liv line of dolls. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

This doll is so cute! Comes with everything in the picture as described. Only my helmet is purple not silver. RipStik really works and rolls, and the knee and elbow pads fit the doll and are really cute. Helmet is easy to get on and so is the hat. Really cute. Would recommend.
