I was looking for another bike for my 4 yr old, but didn't want to get her the same size (smaller) bike she had, so I was trying to see how big I could go and still be safe and rideable for her current size, but I also wanted something she could grow into. She rode (or tried to ride) a number of bikes at the store, but this particular 18" seemed easiest and most natural for her at it's lowest seat setting. The store was out-of-stock so I ordered it online and got FREE shipping. It arrived very quickly and I took it to my local store to assemble (a great $10 value). My daughter really enjoys the bike. My only initial concern is that the fenders seem really cheap. They are thin and wobble a bit. Not like the solid bikes I remember having as a kid in the 70's, etc. The color is pretty (and different) than all the PINK we usually gravitate toward, so as she gets older and her tastes change it will grow with her in style and size unlike alot of the "licensed" bikes. Oh, one last note...the bike came with training wheels and as a result doesn't have a kickstand. Just FYI. Not a big deal as I can purchase one later, but just be aware.

Darling bike. My daughter loves it. But we've removed the flimsy fenders. Everything else so far is good about the bike.

got bike for kid and she loves it i like that it is really strong but yet super lite my kid road it for 2 hours and didn't what to get off to eat dinner great buy

bike is nice quality but has no kickstand included probally because it comes with training wheels.but its also 18" so who knows....fenders are a little "flimsy" but i didnt buy it for that feature anyway otherwise seems great.

Well, assembled, this bike is great and our 4 year-old loves it (the most important thing)! However, getting to the fully assembled part was a bit challenging.

The first bike we received (bought online) was bent at the front tire forks. My husband returned the bike in-store and they gave him another bike no questions asked.

He assembled the bike that evening to find one of the training wheels was cracked and there was no kickstand. I guess I missed that when reading the other reviews. Again, in-store gave us another training wheel without any trouble.

The hand brakes were not a problem to assemble as others have mentioned--LEFT hand controls the back tire and the RIGHT controls the front!

Now that the bike is assembled, we ride it everyday and it's a bike style/color that can grow with her rather than pink that she will EVENTUALLY outgrow!

I thought i save $10 by putting it together myself. I Should have just gave to em!I ended up returning the "assembled" bike because of break lines unraveling and the paint wasnt good at all. There was Chip paint on the fenders. Hey can we all agree for the Price the quality could have been just a bit better. Not to mention, i get a replacment and the same parts are chipped again! I just wasnt pleased with this bike.

Bike should have included kickstand. no training wheels needed for this size bike.

This bike was easy to assemble except for the hand brakes. The instruction manual was very general for all bikes and not Coral Mist in particular. Thank God I have a brother in law who is a genuis with bikes! After he corrected my errors, the bike rides awesome. Once in a while you can hear a fender rubbing against the tires. My daughter can't stop riding it! She rides it on the streets, on the grass, and on dirt trails. No complaints form her. She did not want the accessories or training wheels attached but it still looks great. I love that it has hand brakes as well as foot brakes.

Very disappointed. I know it' only a [$]bike, but the quality is terrible. The hand breaks are alomost impossible to adjust (I ended up taking them completely off for safety), and the paper thin fenders are connected to them which makes everything rub on the tires as it's ridden. The back wheel is warped as well. [...] my daughter would have been crushed if I returned it. I would pick something else!
