Putting together the basketball hoop was tricky and took a few hours. And it takes TWO people. But my 10-year old son and I were able to do it. That said, once it's put together it works well. It wobbles a little bit when the ball hits it, but not much and that's not a problem. We like it.

Overall this is a great value. My son loves it. The only thing I would change is to make it easier to raise/lower (he is able to do it on his own, but I have seen hoops that are easier to adjust).

We bought this hoop for my son's birthday last summer and it still looks and works great(we do roll it to the garage during the harsh midwest winter months). My 9 year son and his friends use it all the time and we have not had any complaints about the hoop yet. To make it easier to move when we want we do not fill the base with water or sand but simply lay two sandbags over the base which can be lifted off at any time we want to move or store the hoop.

This was a good deal. Bought this for my boys for Christmas 2011. It is very sturdy and the boys love it as do I. Give us a chance to play something together besides video games.

This piece is hard to put together. It took my sister and I 3 1/2 hours Christmas Day to put this together. You need 2 of every wrench and need about 6 different wrenches. It does take two people to put it together.

One of the poles was damaged during shipping and we had to take a hammer to it to get it to bend properly.

I gave it 4 stars due to the time it takes putting together and the damaged piece.

This was a gift for my son at Christmas 2010. When we put the unit up during Spring 2011 and it took close to 3 hours to put up. The instructions are very poorly written along with the diagrams. However, the unit snapped a bolt during a wind storm here in IL, and the warranty do not cover "an act of God". So replacement parts need to be ordered. THe product doesn't seem to be able to endure weather conditions when winds are 30mph winds. Calling into their customer service line to get replacement parts was like root canal.

Very sturdy and well built basketball goal for the price. Our grandson is really enjoying this and was super excited to get it! The shatterproof backboard and breakaway goal are really nice.

My only complaint is that the instructions were not that easy to follow. In fact, there was a step that my husband and son-in-law had to figure out on their own that wasn't included in the instructions. It took 2 hours to assemble.

Excellent hoop for an excellent price. My kids are 6 & 9 and my husband all use this basket. It is very strong and durable!!!!

Good value. I searched for this type of setup and the lowest price on a good 48 inch portable back board was almost twice the price. [...] Easy to assemble and is sturdy. Kids are playing every day.
