Have fun shooting hoops with the Lifetime 44" Portable Basketball Hoop, which features a 44" blow-molded HDPE plastic Impact backboard with a frame pad and fade-resistant graphics to help maintain its good looks outdoors. The telescoping design allows you to adjust the backboard from 7.5' to 10' without the use of tools. The rim is made of 5/8" solid steel and comes with an all-weather net, while the pole is made of 2.75" round powder-coated steel to resist rust. Fill the portable base with sand or water to achieve the necessary stability–no concrete installation is required.

Description



Lifetime 1268 44" ProCourt impact backboard is virtually indestructible! Molded of high-density polyethylene, this backboard withstands the elements. The graphics are screen printed with UV protected inks, offering fade-resistant color.

Lifetimes classic Rim Basketball Goal features a 5/8 inches solid steel ring supported by 1/2-inch braces. Welded steel net hooks do not require replacement. The classic rim on this free standing basketball hoop provides excellent durability and an all weather nylon net.

Lifetimes 2.75-inch Telescoping Pole adjusts the rim height from 7.5 to 10 feet in 6-inch increments without the use of tools.

The free-standing basketball goal portable base provides a stable foundation. The portable goal hoop rolls easily on its own wheels to the desired location. This base is constructed of high-density polyethylene to withstand the elements. No cement required for Lifetime 1268 Portable Basketball Hoop.

Very good product for shooting hoops in the driveway. Not for dunking (not breakaway and only 12 Gallon base. Really like the portability as I plan on storing it in my garage during high winds or during most of the week when not using it or in the winter due to to HOA rules. Soft/forgiving backboard, but it's ok, getting the nothing but net shot back. Easy to put together. Got it on sale...so can't beat it for the price. I was looking for the smallest footprint and easily moveable goal as possible. Very light and not top heavy...easy to move around in the driveway and roll into the garage. The telescopic adjustment is ok, but need a step stool to make it easier and also you have to take the bolt all the way out to adjust. But the back board is light so I can slide the and hold the upper pole with one hand while I manipulate the bolt with the other.

This basketball hoop is great for young children learning the game. But if your kids are serious about b-ball, it's weak. The backboard is rather flimsy, which makes for a very friendly rim (the ball doesn't bounce off as hard as a regulation backboard, resulting in more made baskets). My boys (6 & 8) love it right now, but if they ever get serious about playing, we'll get a higher quality system in a few years. It was fairly easy to put together. I did 90% by myself and had a couple neighbor boys help with a few of the final steps. I put 150 lbs of sand in/on it and the base is stable. But the backboard is not braced well enough to the pole. It's not bad at all for the price, but I can't give it higher than 3 stars because it is "Average/Ordinary." You get what you pay for.

            This hoop is a piece of junk! Took it out of the box and the blue detailing came off on my hands! Took inventory of pieces and 3 vital parts were missing. Very cheap and not sturdy! RETURNED!!! Do not buy!

                I bought this goal for my 7 year old. It looks great and he loves it. As far as assembly, that was not so easy. It took my husband a whole day to assemble to goal but I think he may have tried to do it without the directions. Plus, one of the screws was way to short. In the end, he got it up and it seems pretty sturdy. My son plays on it everyday! I just put water in the back and does pretty well. My husband even plays on it.
