I've finally rested soundly since purchasing this product. Works great in the bassinet and in his crib. I sleep better knowing that I will be notified if my baby has any issues during the night. I love it so much that I even brought it with us when traveling for a week to my parents house for the holidays.

as other reviewers have said, this product gives you complete peace of mind. our daughter was 7 weeks early so when we brought her home after 3 weeks in the NICU we wanted extra security. i would have wanted this type of monitor whether she was a preemie or not - with SIDS and awful stories you hear about i think it's far better to be safe than sorry. we did have one or 2 false alarms which, yes, scares the fool out of you, but in those instances our baby had just moved to a corner of her crib and off of the sensor mat. and even in those times, it was nice to know that the alarm is extremely loud so no matter where you are in your house you would hear it! otherwise, this product is great. i was a total worry-wart for the first year of my daughter's life and now i'm definitely less crazy, but i can't imagine not having this product for her infant months (we no longer use it since she is 2 now). will definitely use it for future children - totally worth the price!

I wanted to buy one of these monitors, but I never got around to it until I saw it at a baby consignment store for less than half the price. My daughter was just starting to roll over, so I bought it for piece of mind. I love it! I can finally sleep! The only "false alarms" we've had is when my husband or me forget to turn it off when we take her out (we scare the begeebers out of each other..lol)

I like this one better than the others because it grows with the baby, it has two pads. Try spacing the sensor pads apart a little more to cover more area. I also haven't had to change the batteries yet, it's been 3 months.

I wish I bought this earlier, even at full price, so worth the money!

I originally convinced my hsband that we needed this product simply for peace of mind, but it came to be a true life saver when my daughter began to have many aspiration episodes from sever acid reflux. At 9mo my daughter has outgrown her acid reflux but for continued peace of mind this monitor will never be coming off her crib. I am so thankful for this product and have recommended it to many new and soon to be parents :)

We had an ALTE with our daughter at 4 months so we bought this for peace of mind. Worth every penny. Have never had a false alarm. She is now 14 months and we still use it. Only replaced the batteries once. Very happy with this product.

We love this product and recommend it to all parents. When our daughter started to roll in her sleep, she was sleeping through the night on her belly, but I wasn't. This product offered the peace of mind I needed to feel comfortable with her sleeping on her belly. We reviewed similar products, which also had great reviews, but Babysense comes with two pads, so the product grows with your baby's development. We have only had three false alarms because she moved off the pad. She generally sleeps through the alarm, so it hasn't been bothersome.

I can sleep at night. I have 5 boys and every single one of them all worried me when it came time for them to sleep at night and the fear of SIDS. With my fifth and final son, I finally got it and can't tell you how much sleep I actually get having a new born. I love it and would recommend this to anyone. LOVE IT!

If you have an infant you HAVE to buy this product. I reviewed this product giving it a 5 after my son had used it for a few weeks right after he was born. More than 2 years later I am reviewing it again with a 5. We are still using this every night and it works wonderfully. Some people complain when using movement monitors that there are false alarms. My response to them is usually laughing. First of all how do you know it was a false alarm? Maybe the alarm woke your child up enough to start breathing again. Second, unless the "false alarm" is waking you multiple times during the night, isn't your child's life worth getting up to turn off an alarm? My husband and I swear by this product and recommend it to all parents of newborns. It is now my "go to gift" for parents, even if they didn't register for it. I started searching for such a product after my neice was found unresponsive and later diagnosed with sleep apnea. Our entire family and extended family is in love with this product. I wish every family could leave the hospital with this product. It is the only way a parent can get some sleep without running into the nursey to make sure their baby is breathing!

We got this has a gift from my MIL in 2008 when we had my son. He was 6 weeks early and was in the hospital for 2 weeks. My MIL worked with a women from Israel that told her that ALL women do not leave the hospital without one of these. So she read up on it and bought it.
I was so much more at ease when Atlas finally did come home. He slept in our room for only 7 days and then went to his room where this was set up on his crib. We never had a false alarm while he was an infant. However you do need to remove it from the crib once the baby does start moving around a lot.
I was so much more at ease with this and have recommend this to several of my friends.
We just had our second baby and even though she was full term, I still put this in her crib. It truly does WORK and is very sensitive.

You can't stay awake 24/7 to watch over your baby, and being a new parent sometimes you feel like you need to. This monitor is like a night time and nap time babysitter watching over you precious little one while you aren't there. It is great because you can use it in the cradle and then the crib. It works, it has saved my daughter 3 times. We were skeptical about this when we got it so we tried all sorts of tests on it and found out it really does sense the slightest movements. Make sure not to have a fan on and a mobile on the crib, the air circulation will cause the mobile to move ever so slightly and the monitor can sense that. After testing we decided to remove the crib mobile and bought a projected mobile that plays music and displays images on the ceiling instead. It is the peace of mind that is worth so much more than you pay for. Our daughter has respiratory problems and her respiration rate dropped below the normal amount, the alarm went off. It is LOUD and it will wake you up right away with plenty of time to get to your child and get them breathing normally again. I believe in this product sooo much that I have given it to several people for shower gifts. You always hope that your child will be perfectly healthy, but if not this is the life line to give them another chance. I can't think of the consequences if we had never purchased this product. So thank you to the BabySense company, you saved my daughters life!
