The DaVinci 150-coil mattress was orthopedically constructed for healthy sleep. It's hypo-allergenic with a triple laminated, wet proof cover. Safe, Healthy, Starbrite. The Starbrite II Mattress 150 Coil features or includes:

• Strong orthopedic construction with heavy duty 15 gauge coils


• 9 gauge border wire for durability and edge support


• Hypoallergenic polyester fiber fill for firm support


• Reinforced laminate cover/binding for tear, water resistance and easy cleaning


• Ultra-fresh additive formulated into vinyl for anti-bacteria surface (no other additives needed, vinyl is water repellent by nature)


• Fabric made of vinyl surface with double polyester backing


• Meets federal requirements of the CPS Improvement Act of 2008 and HR 4040, and this mattress is well within the limits of Lead and Phthalate federal requirements


• Exceeds Flammability Standards 16 CFR parts 1632, 1633, and 11


• Met by Antimony formulated into vinyl surface


• No adhesives in our crib mattresses

I bought this mattress for my 2 year old as I wanted a softer one for him to replace a firm organic matress that is going to his baby brother. When the mattres arrived I was impressed by the packing and then that it was made in USA. The quality is excellent water proof but it feels just fine to touch, lighter than my other mattress and the firmness is just perfect. Not as soft as I hoped but it is actually better.
I would not change a thing on it!
Great price too. My other mattress was 3 times more and I don't see much difference other than firmness.
It works great with my Delta crib! Wide enough.

I ordered this mattress to save some money. It was 50% off event. I read reviews and it seemed like a good firm mattress but it is very soft and reminded me like a water or air bed ( press one side and it will reflect the other). I am not sure if my baby will be comfortable in it. I returned it in the store and will get something different.

It's pretty firm and like every other mattress. The outside cover is plastic, so don't worry about stains.

I got this mattress free with the crib purchase and was nervous thinking it wouldn't be that good, to my surprise it was alot better then the ones we were thinking of getting at the store that were more expensive. Its very firm and good quality, This was a true example that more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better quality.
