This watch worked great as a reminder for my daughter as well as myself. I would recommend it! We didn't need really need it after a week but kept it on anyways. The battery seems to be dying after week 3 already and my daughter figured out how to cover up the speaker so I couldn't hear the alarm. I should have gotten this sooner.

I normally don't even write reviews but this potty watch really encouraged my daughter to want to use the potty. By the 3rd day of potty training she had not one accident. Every time the potty watch plays music and light up, she knows exactly what time it is and her words are " I'll be right back" :) It's helpful because she use to get tired of me reminding her to go. The potty watch has been a fun reminder for her and she loves to see it light up. We've only been using it a week now and it has held up. She really don't even need it anymore but still loves to wear it.

I love the idea of the watch and it works great...when it works. I've bought my 3rd one in just a few months of potty training. It just seems to stop working all of a sudden.

This product worked very well it was a fun way for my granddaughter to learn to use the potty. She loves it even though she doesn't need it anymore she still wears it.

So after reading mixed reviews I figured an investment less than a package of diapers to help my daughter get over that "hill" in potty training could be worth it. With the previous issues of quality and other reviewer's watches stopping after a short time of usage; I purchased two watches but have yet to open the second watch's packaging after 4 weeks of the first working just fine. Might I add - my daughter age is 3 and had shown signs of readiness for potty training but needed something other than the promises of toys and stickers to get her excited about pting. She couldn't wait to put in on and the first week we went with the watch and no pull ups (except nighttime) and had no #1 accidents and only one #2. Second week - no accidents, 3rd week - one #2 accident, fourth week - no accidents. I am excited to report that she now recoginizes the urge to go (both 1 & 2) even without the watch reminding her but she likes it so much we have adjusted the reminder to 1 hour and she still makes an effort to go when it goes off. I always ask if it is comfy on her wrist and don't see her act as if it bothers her. Nothing has "broken off" and the digital display functions just fine. We are careful not to get it wet when washing hands, gotten a little sprinkle here and there but never soaking wet.

I would recommend it, for it's price, it has the potential of paying off big time - being diaper free!

I was struggling to potty train my almost 5 year old daughter before kindergarten started. She had zero interest in learning, didn't respond to positive reinforcement or incentives, and really didn't care if her pants were wet the rest of her life. Finally decided to buy this watch and make it her responsibility. Instant success. We ended up ditching the watch before bumping to 90 min, because from between 30 and 60, she had it down pat. Works wonders. I only wish I could reuse it with my son! (He's autistic, this probably won't motivate him at allll.)
As for the item itself.. it's just loud enough, even audible through the baby monitor at grandma's. Even if a child refuses to wear it, it can hang from a hook and they'll still be alerted by the songs. Easy to set. She didn't complain of discomfort wearing it. And as for previous complaints about water damage, we simply had her wash with a foaming hand sanitizer during the 3 days that the watch was in use.
One thing I do remember complaining about was that she seemed to need to go every 45 minutes the second day, and 45 isn't an option!
I absolutely have recommended this product to everyone I know.

I got this for my two year old daughter as she started potty training. The first day it worked great and she loved it. But by the end of the first day, it was randomly turning off and I would have to reset it. Then the second day the lights would flash and the music wouldn't play, plus it was still randomly turning off. I believe the batteries are dead in it... not going to try to replace the batteries, since I believe it should have arrived to me in working condition. I will be returning it and trying another one that will hopefully work better.

My 3 year old daughter loves this potty watch. She knows to go to the potty when she hears the tune coming from the potty watch. It makes potty time a fun time!

The only complain I have is that this potty watch is not water proof. You just have to make sure it doesn't get wet. My daughter is 2 years old and since I bought her this watch (3 days ago) she has been going to the potty every hour and she has even done #2 in the potty which is one of the hardest things to do when it comes to potty training. I also have a 5 month old baby and I constantly forget to take my daughter to the bathroom. Thanks to this watch,she is excited to go potty and I don't forget to take her. Come on people, you are only paying [$] for this watch that makes potty training easier,what else can you ask for?
