I've owned this stroller for about 16 months and we really like it. We bought it as a light weight stroller to take on vacation with our 8 mo daughter. It has held up well for us after lots of use. I've read people have had problems with the seat staying up, but we have not experienced that. Madeline seems comfortable in it, the basket is a nice size, it is easy to open, fold up and carry, and it doesn't tip over with a heavy diaper bag hanging on the back (even when she's NOT in the seat). The sun shade isn't big enough, but I don't think any stoller has a big enough sun shade (we bought the RayShade by Kiddopotamus which is AWESOME). It also doesn't have a parent tray, but we bought an add-on cup holder. My only real complaint is that it doesn't always steer well on slick floors (like at the mall) when the diaper bag is hanging on the back. Madeline is a lightweight, so I think it is because there isn't enough weight on the front. If not for that problem, I would have given it 5 stars. Overall, this is a good stroller and it isn't nearly as expensive as some others!

I bought this right before mothers day. Im really a loyal Graco customer, I have a 6 year old and shes never had a stroller or carseat that was not Graco and now have a 10 month old baby who Ive been the same way with. I love Graco. Well...This stroller has me considering another brand. The seat doesnt sit upright. Not like oh it doesnt sit far enough forward but at all. It lays flat all the time and has since I bought it in may of this year. I Loved that it held up to 50lbs so I thought if I really had to my 6 year old could sit in it even since shes 50lbs. I have to fold a blanket and put it behind my daughter just for her to kind of be upright but shes a very busy baby so laying down is out of the question for her. I called Graco today and they were great I have to say, not only was I literally speaking with a person with in a minute of calling which was awsome the woman I spoke with was wonderful and is sending me some replacement part for free, I will re-review the stroller if the replacement part is the awnser. It has great features, folds with ease, feels sturdy, its nice and tall for my 6'4" hubby but still comfortable for me being 5'4" I like that overall it doesnt feel like a toy stroller where most umbrella strollers do. Ive got a Graco brand Jogging stroller, this one and a travel system, two of the booster seats and a 5 point booster seat (we even at one point had the baby doll Graco travel system that lasted several years) all of which I love so hopefully this is an item we can keep and love like the rest of our stuff. There are MANY pros with this stroller if it will sit upright. I added a picture. If you look closely you will see a brown blanket folded behind my daughter and shes still laying pretty far back.

Good for travel easy to fold and recline
Sometimes things get messy and seat needs to be washed ... at least 20! screws must be removed to remove seat cover- for this reason alone would not recommend took a good half hour just to get seat off!! canopy provides almost no shade

Comments about Graco Ipo Stroller - Platinum:

I cannot say enough good things about this stroller! I wanted an umbrella stroller that reclined and also had storage underneath. My son falls asleep in it while shopping and it reclines almost flat. Its a dream to push! You can 1 hand push it the whole time if you'd like. It rolls so easily. I did buy a stroller organizer from BRU for a cupholder and extra storage. I also bought strap covers because I didn't like the way the straps rubbed my sons neck. I love how sturdy it is and that the weight limit is 50lbs. It is a little heavier than your avg umbrella stroller but you have the added canopy for shade and extra fabric and cushioning. But its still under 20lbs! I love this umbrella stroller!

I bought the Delta Ultimate Convenience stroller/Urban Street stroller. I used both to see which I liked best & the Graco IPO won! The Delta was so hard to push and more so slid across the floor rather than roll across the floor! You HAD to use 2 hands to push it. I returned the Delta and kept the more expensive Graco!

This Graco IPO is definitely worth every dollar!

Comments about Graco Ipo Stroller - Platinum:

I was torn between this and the First Years Ignite. Decided to go with this one because it was nicer looking and I have a few other Graco items I like.
Received the stroller yesterday and all I had to do was snap on the wheels and canopy. Took our 2-month old and our dog on a test walk today and I'm thrilled with the purchase. While the stroller requires two hands to open it (for me at least), I wasn't going to be holding baby in one hand and fiddling with the stroller with the other hand so it's no big loss. At 17 lbs, some people complained it was too heavy. I disagree. It's a welcome change from our Chicco Cortina travel system stroller. The wheels manuever easily over lots of different surfaces. Canopy was a little hard to snap on and seems wobbly but who cares, at least it's removable for when our son is too tall for it - but it seems like there is plenty of room to grow. Excited to use the stroller for years to come.

Comments about Graco Ipo Stroller - Platinum:

The description of this product fits it to a T. I love that it's plenty tall to accomodate my 5'5" frame or my husband's 6' self so that neither of us are kicking the stroller as we walk. The recline feature, the storage "basket" and the umbrella are all added bonuses if you ask me. The typical umbrella strollers don't have any of those things, so although they may not be as large or roomy as your travel system strollers, those features are all built in to a stroller that collapses as small as the original umbrella strollers.

I am planning to purchase an after market cup holder--- I've seen them on BRU's website. Other than missing one of those, this stroller has everything I would want in a compact size. Caution, 17 lbs is a bit heavy for a compact stroller, but it clearly states the weight in the description. :)

I have had this stroller for about 2 years now. I LOVE it. I have the deluxe model which has a cup holder. My diaper bag hangs on the handles and doesn't tip over. I love that it reclines so my daughter can sleep. It folds up small which is nice. I feel like it is sturdy. I use it with my 11 month old and my almost 3 year old. The only thing I would change is the shade. I wish is would rotate or was bigger.

Comments about Graco Ipo Stroller - Platinum:

I have been using this stroller for about 2 years. I am currently looking to replace this one. The biggest problem is the front right wheel does not touch the ground, it never did. It will touch if the child is 40pds. or more. My youngest is lighter, so basically steering is really difficult. The visor is also pretty small and doesn't provide much shade from the sun. It also doesn't recline enough for my 10 mo. old the sleep.

Comments about Graco Ipo Stroller - Platinum:

We wanted a smaller umbrella stroller that could fold, fit in the car easily, and was lightweight. This received high marks from Consumer Reports - I always prioritize the safety rating as highest, and the Ipo did receive a good score there. It folds and unfolds very easily and there is no ambiguity about whether it has locked into place when you open it, so you don't need to worry about fingers getting pinched. At 17lbs and with a carry handle on the side it is very easy to carry up and down the 10 stairs from our porch to the sidewalk. The basket won't fit an entire diaper bag but there's plenty of room for you to pile in individual items. The sun visor is smaller than I'd like, but that is to be expected with an umbrella stroller. It's not as smooth a ride as our heavy duty stroller, but again, I expected trade-offs for the convenience and size. My son is very comfortable in it.

This is a very sturdy stroller and stills folds compact like a lightweight stroller. Perfect for transporting a toddler without the bulk, but it does weigh about 17 lbs, not for those who are looking for real lightweight. But it is doable.
