First things first, for the price you pay it is an awesome "toy" to use.It works very well for a [$] product, surprisingly well to tell you the truth. If you are looking for something that is good for long range and clear for really close, this is not the item for you then. This is more for up close and gives you a nice clear picture but doesn't work as well for a bit farther out. This company makes another model called the "eye clospe", i own both and I am extremely pleased with both, but if i had to choose, it would be for sure the clospe, this is because it works really well at longer range and perfect for up close. Both products cost the same i should add. The screen on the night vision surveillance is much smaller then the eye clospe. Also the clospe has brighter IFR so it is much brighter to see. One problem i find is that the toggle switches are hard to find and uncomfortable to change.This is a great product and works perfectly. I would recommend both but because i bought both to compare, i would strongly recommend the Eye colpse though.

works great, some people are under the impression that both lights are suppose to be seen. This is incorrect. Only one of the IFR lights are seen the other is for short range and is not seen per the FAQ on their page. [@]

I read online before I bought that it was known for having the left side light out. Light was on the first day, but didn't work the next day. Went to the store to exchange and wanted to be sure that the one we were getting worked. Checked 4 others in the store and all of them had the left light not working. We returned for a refund - we got a different birthday gift.

Our 10-year-old loves spies and troopers types of toys. He uses this toy a lot with his nerf guns in the backyard, even when it's not dark. Loves it!

Purchased for my 8year old son. These are amazing! Easy to use and they really work! They are very durable. My 5year old is very jealous of these. He has no problem using them. With two boys, it wouldn't hurt to have two pairs!

Christmas gift for a 10 year old and 7 year old (so fun adults play with it too). Great picture for the vision provided - definitely works for cul-de-sac night-time secret spy games or for around the house as well. A side note: the picture and description make these appear to be 'goggles', which one would assume would be operated hands-free - these DO NOT - they are actually held up like binoculars for use. A little let down, but they are still very fun despite that fact.

This thing never worked not even once.There are multiple reviews online that state the left hand lights won't function and neither do ours. But inside the goggles there is no image at all. Jakks Pacific should have to apologize to anyone who bought this piece of junk.
