It's always the popular toy when friends come over too. Even my 5yo daughter loves to circle around the house on it. Works on both carpet and wood!

    My kids love Thomas and love this toy. It is simple and easy for them to operate without my assistance. It would be great for outdoor use only. However, I let them use it indoors and it has ruined my hardwood floors. It took me a while to figure out what was happening....when they run into something and Thomas cannot go any further and the wheels spin..it just digs into the floor. So beware if you plan to use it indoors and have hardwood.

      My son turned three in May and I never quite know what to get him since he has so many toys! This was definitely his favorite present. It works well both inside and outside. Also, this doesn't go too slow or too fast. My son begs to play with this toy daily. It is very durable, easy to use, easy to put together, and very fun. I would think that this is a safe product, but my son has tipped it over a few times. However, he's a very active little boy, so I think that it was his doing when he put this on his side once or twice when he was playing on this. This doesn't have anything to do with the product itself, but I'm a little unhappy that Toys 'R Us is not shipping all of the toys on their website and I now see that they are no longer shipping this toy. That is horrible considering that some of us that are busy Mom's do not have the time or energy to travel 2 or more hours if a store of yours is that far from us like in my case.

        This has been an all around good experience. It came to the house quickly and was easy to assemble. The children ride it indoors, as well as outdoors. My grandson, who is two, has not quite gotten the hang of the steering, but his four year old sister is more than happy to ride him around behind her. The speed is perfect!

          This was a gift for my two year old grandson.The ride was easy to assemble but some of the decals were a bit of a challange to put on straight because of their length. And you only get one shot @ the decals because of the adhesive.My grandson loves it and gives kisses to Thomas's nose after every ride.
