This Savage Series model features the Basket Web pattern, which was the first flexible web that made the glove easier to squeeze. With its 11" pattern this glove is a great crossover glove that can be used for youth fast pitch softball or baseball. The Savage Series gloves are equipped with leather shells and leather laces that require minimal break in. These gloves are soft and easy to close.

Comments about Rawlings Savage Series 11 inch Youth Baseball Glove:

This glove is actually the "Players" series, not the "Savage" series. I bought this exact glove for my son, who played in a league with it. Two months later, the material began tearing in several places. After calling Rawlings for replacement under warranty, the representative told me that this glove is NOT to be used in a league, but is only intended to be used in the backyard to play catch with. Since it is not leather, the synthetic material cannot handle the abuse it gets from a league.

I only recommend this glove if you intend to use it for an occasional catch outside.
