Good Game for Learning

Comments about University Games 1001232 Super WHY! ABC Letter Board Game:
My daughter loves the show and she loves this game. She is practicing all her letters from the game. With the new common core, I would say that game is very age appropriate. The questions are not too hard. We are working on the rhyming words, but that's all part of the fun.

Just a bad game

About Me Parent
My son enjoys Super Why and had been asking for this game for awhile. We got it for him for his third birthday. Should've known better than to buy something based off of a TV show! The path around the board is very short. You land on different characters along the way and have to take a matching card with instructions. This varies from "find the letter a" to "give three words that rhyme with bed". So when a three-year-old is playing with a grownup, and the child keeps getting all of the more difficult cards, well, it's just not fun. Even when all goes well, this game is very boring and we haven't played it in almost six months. My advice: stick with the classics like Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders. Don't be drawn in by the pretty box!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Super Why to the Rescue!!!
By John's mom

My son loves Super Why. He actually learned his letters from the show. We try and play the game once a week. He likes being the different characters and moving around the board. My only con about the game is that the spinner is difficult to use for a two year old. I big die would have been better.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
