The product was hard to get downloaded, but that was probably more my fault for not being good with computers, but my son loves it and it fits in really well with where he is at in school right now. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

We love LeapFrog products at our house, and this new addition delivered too! It is a great reading tool and the games and story-telling features add to the fun. The TS3 set came with an Ozzie & Mack book and a TS3 game booklet...be prepared that the game booklet is NOT loaded on the pen & that you must go through the entire setup online before you can download it! {And make sure that you have the AAA batteries}

The TAG system was great for emerging (ages 2-4) and beginner (ages 5-7) readers. My children were engaged. The system worked perfectly for both phonics and sight word development. The Toy Story design was an added bonus, but the supplemental 'book' was more of a pamphlet. My only other complaint is the 'commercialized' selection of books that are sold separately. Although the characters are familiar to kids, they are not the greatest for developing specific skills. I found a better selection of TAG books online, such as Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Short/Long Vowel Sets. The pen is GREAT...we just need a better selection of high quality books with which to use it.

We already had the original Tag Reader but when I saw the Toy Story pen, I just had to buy it for my son. He loves Toy Story! My autistic son just loves to sit down and "read" these books and loves all the activites within the books as well. Now we have 2 pens so both of my boys have one and there's no more fighting over who gets to hold the pen!

Love the fact that the Toy Story pen has twice the memory of the original and it cost less than I originally paid too.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
