My daughter wasn't very impressed with this in the store but since she loves doll houses and Olivia I went ahead and gave it a shot. She loves it has a little trouble opening the sides but after a few hours of playing with it she has got it down. She is 2 so this is expected. I also purchased the set with the mom, dad, and brother figures which make her very happy. She enjoyed putting the stickers everywhere which come off and reapply easily but won't last long. I am very happy with the purchase and think this will last a year or longer.

My daughter is a huge Olivia fan so this was a must have purchase. I was surprised that the house was so small and that it didn't come with more accessories. I had to supplement this purchase with other Olivia figures and could not find adequate furniture. The concept of the house changing to a pirate ship is awesome, but it could have been something a little more girl friendly or mimicked a favorite episode like when Olivia pretends her home is a hotel, and it definitly could have included more people and furniture for the price! It is a durable house and flips nicely, but again, most people will buy it simply because its Olivia.

        We got this for my daugter around when she turned four. She loved it, I think its darling. I do agree with the clip, it does come open when you carry it. I wouldn't want it to come with any more pieces because the pieces are little, that would just be more to loose. I just wish it would come with an additional family member but we got the van and family set to go with it :)

          This product is poorly designed for young children of 4 to 5 years old. The stickers get torn. The house does not stay closed due to weakness of the latching mechanism. Olivia's ear broke off within a week. Her dress tore at the sleeve and back seem. They should have made them of cloth and hook and loop fasteners. I would not recommend this product. It will only lead to tears and a waste of money.

          My daughter loves it but less than 4 months of having the toy, Olivia's dress (made of flexible plastic) ripped. It's made to be changeable so I didn't expect that. The house is suppose to close up and be carried but when u pick it up by the handle, the house comes open and all the parts fall out. It needs a better clip to stay shut. Part of the toy comes with stickers you can use to decorate Olivia's room and other walls of the house. My daughter is 4 and has torn the stickers all off the walls and they are ruined now. She is usually not destructive with her toys. So maybe the sticker idea isn't good for the lowest age range of the toy. Overall it's a great idea and she loves it. I just know that I paid a lot for it and now it's not going to last very long.

                  Although my daughter absolutely loves this toy, it is a total waste of money. The house will not stay together so every time you pick it up to carry it to another room it pops open and all of the things that you put in it fall out. Olivia will not stay on the stand that is supposed to make her stand up, the hat and little accessories do not stay where you put them and because of the way the product was packaged, my husband threw away most of the accessories on our busy Christmas morning, not realizing that there were some pieces that weren't in the obvious places. For the money spent, I would have expected much more. The only reason my daughter hasn't gotten frustrated with the things not staying where they are supposed to is because she only gets to play with this toy when her little sister is asleep since all of the parts are choking hazzards so everytime she gets to play with it is a special thing for her. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
