My daughter received this for Christmas 2011. She loved it but it only lasted about five months. It just stopped working, thinking it was just the batteries we changed those out and the thing still didn't work. Would not recommend, especially for the price.

My 4 yr old daughter fell in love with this dog. She was so disappointed after a few months it did not work anymore. I thought it was time to change the batteries. Opened it up and it was all corroded. Now its sitting in a corner collecting dust because my daughter refused to throw it away.
Poorly made.

I bought this for my daughter 12-24-2011 as Christmas present, she played couple of times with the included batteries and was left in the closet since. 6 months later she took it out and found it is not working anymore. I thought may be the batteries and soon discovered the batteries that came with it had leaked so badly it corroded itself and the spring. I've never seem anything like it and this is unacceptable for children toys.

This will not last longer than 6 months.

My daughter received this for Christmas and it has worked fine until now, about 6 months later. New batteries do not help. From what I've read here we seem lucky to have had it work this long. So glad I didn't pay for this piece of junk.

My daughter had wanted one of these for sometime but the price was a little much for something i didn't know if she would contuinously play with it. Well ended up buying it [$] she played with it a few times but nothing like a real dog of course. So we just ended up putting it up in closet 6 months later take down to sell and the batteries that came with it had exploded all over inside the compartment and leaked through out onto the fur which is white so now i have a [$] newly used toy with battery acid all over it and getting no use. Upset at the fact they would even come with such batties expessially the cost of the toy!!

My daughter got this for Christmas and LOVED it. The dog was probably her favorite gift, but after a day it stopped walking and then eventually stopped working altogether. I changed the batteries and it still didn't work. I ended up contacting Hasbro to return it. After some effort on my part to get them to respond, I eventually got a return call tag and they reimbursed me.

Got this for my 4 year old daughter for Xmas. It only walked for about 2 hours and now only barks. Have to exchange for another one becuase store will not take back without the box. this is too expensive to stop working so quickly!

This was a late Christmas gift for my 3 year old daughter. After telling EVERYone including Santa that she wanted "Cookie" the dog for Christmas she was very upset when she got Cookie that morning and immediately took it out of the box and exclaimed "let's go for a walk!" To which it responded by sitting on the ground barking! She then clarified that she wanted "Cookie that walks with a leash!" Oops! I'm assuming that she was confused by the manufacturer's push on commercials for GoGo while the retailers pushed for Cookie with pallet displays at every store we shopped at this year! Both are all white and look very similar to a 3 year old! Anyway, GoGo arrived on New Year's day and didn't work at all! I went to change the batteries and one had leaked through the battery compartment and all over the bottom of her fur. We ran back to Toys R Us and exchanged it with absolutely no problems. Our third attempt and GoGo finally paid off! My daughter loves taking her for walks around our house (I'm not sure about letting her take it outside in the summer as it shows on the box, though!). It is a little hard for her to "steer" but she is younger than the recommended age so I can't fault that. The biggest fan of GoGo in our house, though, is her 18 mos old brother! He adores playing with GoGo ( he just loves getting any type of reaction out of it- it's motion sensored so it will beg to be played with just like a real dog!), but he gets soooo excited when it moves when he pushes a button. He plays with it everyday while the 3 year old walks it about twice a week.

I was hesitant about this toy because others had said it was not durable. However, ours is great and my daughter loves it. Works best on hard floors, but it drives me a little crazy with the barking sometimes! I WISH it had an auto shut-off, because I find it making noise hours after the kids have gone to bed, so be sure your kids turn it OFF when done playing. Also, don't let them lift it by the leash or carry it that way, it will break, and this toy is no good without the leash to walk it.

My 6 year old daughter really wanted this for Christmas so I caved and got her one. She likes it fine. It gets some play, but not tons. It seems to get way more play when her friends come over. It is very cute and good quality. It's a little pricey for the amount of time she spends playing with it.
