So I this for Christmas from my grandma along with the Draculaura doll. I was so glad to get it even though I had a feeling I'd get it from her since I showed her a bunch of Monster High stuff I wanted and Clawdeen and Draculaura were on top. Like most of my dolls it came from the internet since it's way too hard to find in stores and if it is in stores your bound to get a black eye or something to manage to take it home (I think since the holidays are gone it might be better and you can manage to find one in stores). Anyway I'm going to tell you all the reasons why Clawdeen isn't a piece of junk.

The Clawdeen Wolf basic Monster High doll comes with a doll, a brush, a pet (Clawdeen's cat's name is Crescent), a dairy (which is fun to read), a doll stand (which is only needed for crazy poses otherwise she can stand on her own), and what some people seem not to notice a phrase card which can use for displays (Clawdeen's says A Werewolf in Chic Clothing). So you can tell it's giving you a lot for your money.

Body and Clothing:

Each Monster High doll has a different head mold than other and what makes Clawdeen's special is her ears being on the top of her head not the side. Clawdeen has a dark tan like skin and wavy hair that is just a litter darker brown with red highlights. In her eyes are yellow and her lips have red lip stick with fangs. You can take out her earrings buy turning them until you can pull it you (only do this when changing her earring from ones in a fashion pack and keep all little accessories in a bag so you don't lose them forever). Clawdeen She wears a pink with black zebra print tank, a black jacket with purple fur, a black belt with gold stubs, a purple skirt, pink thighs like things that start at her heel and end at her knee, and purple platform heels. Be careful when taking off the shoes because if you pull a tad too hard it could break off the leg (if that happens it's your or your child's fault not Mattel's it did not just fall off like that. It's why you should watch your children play with these for a bit. Also if you call Mattel they can send you a replacement).

Extra things:

So when I open my Clawdeen the night of Xmas Eve it came with two institutions so I bet someone in the world is missing one and sorry for that if this is your only doll. Also my Clawdeen doll is the one that can move it knee join around the easiest so that's a good sign about it. Lastly if you are dying for a Clawdeen and can't find one don't worry even though the doll is the rarest of them all it doesn't mean she isn't going to lying on shelves one day.

I say buy Clawdeen if you see her and like her. She is also not a piece of JUNK!

They wanted these dolls in the worst way for Christmas and I was able to secure a variety for them. However, within minutes of playing with them the arms fell off. It became somewhat of a joke amongst the girls. I knew from reading other reviews that this is the way they were made, but honestly it's a HORRIBLE design. Within days the arms went missing. Bought doll yesterday... For myself. :) As a 19 yearold toy collector, I'm rather happy with it. Although I really would not recommend these dolls for kids under 10. They're best for those rare pre-teens that still like to play with dolls, as the detachable limbs could easily get lost.

My granddaughters love them. My 7yr old play's with them all the time. My 4 yr old also plays with them all the time. Their arms and legs break off very easy. That might be something you would want to look into. The 4 yr olds are all super glued together. One of the dolls legs were broken before we even took it out of the box.

This is a great toy and people are making me angry! I have about 5 of these dolls and nothing is wrong with them. There legs are put on by elastic not string and dont break off esily(none of mine ever have) I have had them for almost a year now and Im in love with this colection. But what is making me angry is that people keep saying that they are broken but their arms and hands are sopposed to come off for easy changing. ITS YOUR FAULT IF U LOOSE THEM NOT MATTLES also put the pieces back on the doll or in a container if you dont want to loose them!

These dolls are awesome! They look cool and stylish. My friend and I stay up all night with them during sleepover sometimes. You've probably seen people talking about joints coming off... well, the arms and legs are SUPPOSED to come off! They might slide off occasionally. Big deal. If you lose them then that's your fault. Use a plastic bag for the pieces. You can call Mattel to get a replacement. The dolls are really cool. Clawdeen and Lagoona are my favorites.
You should really consider buying.
