I am monster high creased currently, I am going to try to get all of the basic dolls and all of the Frankies (example Frankie Stein Gloom Beach, Frankie Stein Dawn of the Dance). I currently have Frankie, Lagoona, Holt, and I have ordered from the internet Ghoulia Yelps. I got Lagoona Blue with Frankie Stein for my birthday (well they came a day late) and I was trilled (I would have been more thrilled if I wasn't the one who had to crack her iPod Touch screen to get her mother to understand she was somehow interested in doll and was the one who bought it online as well).

The box like always was hard to remove the doll. Her pet Watzit is very cute. Her diary is a fun 5-10 minute read. Hint: When you get your doll you might upset that her hair doesn't have as much volume well if you put her hair up in a pony tail and keep it that way for a few hours then take it off, there she is with more hair volume.

Frankie the Doll Herself:

To describe it in one word that would be beautiful. All of the Monster High dolls are so perfectly detailed it definitely makes a monster look attractive. 'the only problem is that sometime Frankie's elbow joint comes out very easily, but the hand is very hard to take off without hurting your hand. Also if you want to swap outfits be careful, because Frankie's butt is so big that it's a challenge to take it off. It you tug too hard you might take to leg off. One cool thing is that Mattel has put on their boxes "Can not stand without doll stand" well you can get Frankie to stand without it, I've kept her that way for two days straight. Hint: If your dolls legs come off don't worry look it up online there is a way to fix it.

There are many things you can do with a Monster High doll. You can pose it, you can play with it, you can make random videos with them, you can take photos of them, and collect them. I am planning on buying a Draculaura, Clawdeen Wolf, Cleo de Nile & Deuce Gorgon gift pack, and four upcoming dolls (3 girls 1 boy). I might even plan on buying Frankie Stein mirror bed (not yet released) and Frankie Stein's Fear Leading Monster High School Spirit Scream Uniform (not yet released). Over all Frankie Stein great doll, buy it!

Also I found out about from the YA book Monster High. It is good for fans, but it has content that you might not want your child under the age of 10 reading.

Very cute doll, my daughter loves this, but the elastic holding the legs onto the doll is defective and YOU CANNOT REPAIR THIS. Make no mistake, the doll is NOT SUPPOSED TO BREAK THIS WAY, despite being a Frankenstein character! Mattel is replacing my doll, Thank Goodness for good old fashioned customer service! Incidentaly the # of my doll that broke, next to the UPC above the word Mattel is N5948. It is possible there are different lot numbers for defective, and good dolls.

    I've read a few post about legs falling off of these dolls and several people stating that you cannot repair them. You absolutely can and it's an EASY fix-this is important for the dolls you can no longer replace. I honestly have no complaints. They are beautiful dolls...and let's be frank here...no one makes toys like they used to.

      My 7 year old daughter has several MH dolls and loves them, but they are extremely fragile.
      I think people are more than aware that the limbs are supposed to be removable, but the problem is that when you go to put them back on, the pins snap off or bend too easily. My daughter has a Clawdeen Wolf who is missing her lower arm because the pin broke while I gently tried to put it back on for her. They need to rethink the concept....

      these dolls are amazing! But everyone complains how their arms break at the elbow. They are supposed to break so they can get undressed and redressed easily. it's one of the many reasons i love this brand of toy. :)

      My sister bought 3 of these (Frankie, Draculara & Clawdine) one for each of my daughters for christmas and needless to say they were the most popular gift under the tree this year. That is until 2 of them had their arms break off at the elbow. A neighbor also got one for their daughter for christmas and the arm on hers also broke at the elbow. These dolls look great but are not built to be played with. Don't waste your money on these, you'll just end up with very disappointed children.

                Five minutes. That's how long my nearly 10 year old got to play with her Monster High doll before the legs snapped off and the plastic pin inside came out in two pieces.

                These dolls are so cute, and provide a nice alternative to 'regular' dolls, but they are just made to become garbage. I wish I had read the reviews before I spent the money and got my daughter's hopes up. There is nothing more depressing than giving a gift to a child and seeing it broken so quickly.

                Unless you plan to never touch the doll, don't waste your money on this product.

                I have collected myself three of the dolls so far, and fourth one is coming. They have terrific details and cute outfits, but I have to agree with at least one previous comment about poor build. The skirsts should be little longer or have proper panties attached to them, and the ball joint thigns break off realyl easily. I have been really careful with my dolls, just by adjusting their pose few times, their limbs are become little loose, so they won't hold the pose so great and my newest doll had some kind of flaw, which when I tried to adjust her arm from elbow, it just snapped and so she's now having a stub arm (since I dont' play with dolls, I fixed that by sewing her a triangle bandage to look like her arm is broken and is now healing. I'd liek mattel to make the dollies little more sturdier like they have done with their barbies.

                    Love these dolls. my daughter is 3 and talks about Monster High dolls daily. I looked and looked for Abbey and found her a few days ago.
