The different slides provide my son with inspiration to make his own slides..."You can take a sample of ANYTHING!" The compact case fits well in the 900x Microscope case, and has a few spots for additional slides as well. Other than one slide being damamged, it was a great item for the price and

At first I was skeptical because they were so inexpensive, but we have gotten a lot of use out of this set already and it has held up well(especially with a four year old). Helps make learning fun with all of the different specimens and you can't beat the price!
