The hospital I delivered at gave us one of these and strongly suggested its use instead of blankets.
This swaddler stays tight and they cant wiggle loose (other brands havent been as good!). It is the only thing that helps our little guy sleep because he feels snug and secure.
We loved this product so much we went out and bought more. Plus, they're on the baby's Christmas list!
This has been my #1 favorite baby item so far!

We had trouble using this right away. Our little one was in the weight range, but too much fabric made it difficult to swaddle him. He is able to get his arms out of this so easily & the excess fabric always bunched at his shoulders & into his face and mouth. After its first washing the velcro is not sticking well anymore. The extra fabric and the velcro not sticking well (both metioned already, but very important) make the end curl up and it scratches my skin while holding him or nursing him. The only thing I think this is good for is wrapping it below his arms for sleeping to replace blanket hazards. That is the only thing I would suggest this for.

Our son has flailed his arms around like crazy since the day we brought him home. This swaddle sack has been a lifesaver. We had it in the newborn size and then additionally bought the next size since he still flails around. Having the zipper is great. Other sacks that have the pocket that you stick their legs in don't work as well. He would squirm his way out of it and I felt like that was a smother hazard. We love this wrap and it's helped us get lots of extra sleep since our son wakes much more often when he's not swaddled. I liked taht I could get it in a neutral color too so that I can use it for future babies!

I bought this sleep sack thinking it would be better than some other swaddling blankets, but having used both kinds now, I think this one could be better.
It's very well made, nice light fleece material that doesn't seem to get too hot and a good durable zipper, which zips from top to bottom. This is nice because the zipper pull isn't hanging in ear the baby's face. The real reason for it is so you can open the bottom of the sack to change diapers easily, but I did not find this to be true. What I don't like about this sleep sack is: the swaddling flaps are very long, too long, and it contributes to my baby being able to get his arms out. Also, it seems like there should be another piece of Velcro to help hold the inner flap in place. I found that after swaddling my baby when I picked him up the wrap would start to ride up and get close to his face and I had to readjust it or fold the fabric down. It is also very difficult to change a diaper without removing the whole thing. There is so much fabric between the sack and the flaps, it just gets in the way, especially with a squirmy baby.
I've decide that I will use these when my baby doesn't want to be swaddled anymore because it is a great sleep sack, just not a great swaddle.

We received a newborn HALO SleeperSack Swaddle from the hospital. Within a few weeks, it was obvious it helped our daughter sleep more soundly. She loves to be cuddled and this provides her with that feeling, while ensuring that blankets don't get around her face. We quickly purchased the next size larger to ensure we were prepared for the weeks/months ahead. We use this item every night.

We were using the newborn sized Halo fleece SleepSack Swaddle for our newborn, but since our newborn has grown longer and the weather has gotten warmer, we wanted to find something that is lighter but in a bigger size. This was a good alternative. The cotton is soft and the cream color is very pretty (we also got the blue one, which is nice, too). The construction is also very good. The difference between this and the fleece ones is that unlike the fleece sleepsack swaddle, the swaddle part is not detachable (which is ok with us because we never found the need to take it off).

Two things that I wish is that 1) the sleepsack is a little bit longer. While it is a little longer than the NB size, I think it can be even longer because when my 3 month old stretches his leg, he also stretches the bottom of the sleepsack. I wish there was more room, lengthwise for him to move. 2) The flap for the swaddle is longer than the fleece ones and it gets a little cumbersome to wrap it around, though it is not that big of a deal. Overall, we are pleased with the purchase.

My baby girl won't sleep unless she's swaddled, and she kicks out of her receiving blanket so we needed something else. The HALO sleepsack was the perfect solution. One Con is that the paint on the zipper is chipping off in each wash.

I'm a big believer of swaddling to help a baby go to sleep and stay asleep. I didn't swaddle my first child at first because I didn't think she needed it. But I changed my mind. It was taking her a long time to fall asleep and at 4 months wasn't sleeping through the night. Swaddling was the answer! So when my second child was born, I swaddled her from the first day. She had no problems falling asleep and started sleeping through the night at 2 months. Babies move their arms and legs uncontrollably which makes it difficult for them to fall asleep. Even after they fall asleep their arms and legs uncontrolled movements jerk them awake. I love the HALO sleep sack swaddle because it keeps my baby's arms from moving and waking her up.

This is hands down the best solution t swaddling your baby. No extra blankets to worry about and the velcro is great for keeping those Hulk babies in order. We have one for each stage of our sons growth.

My son loves to be swaddled, he grew out of the newborn size swaddler and I needed the 6 month one. I love the velcro closure on the blanket, it's strong enough to keep his arms in place. I wish that the store sold the cotton blanket; however they only carry the fleece one, so your only option is to buy it online, still worth it.
