These pads are definitely waterproof, however they pill (the fabric forms little balls) after a couple washes. They pilled horribly. I would not recommend these.

Our newborn baby girl loves to pee and poo when we open her diaper. These are the perfect size to cover the changing pad and also to fold over after they get soiled mid diaper change so we can continue to clean our baby girl. We wouldn't survive diaper changes without them! We have 10 of them since go through one or two every day. They wash well, plus you can put them in the dryer since there is not a plastic backing.

These pads were recommended by another mommy friend. We have them for the changing pad and pack n play(ever since she had an accident with diaper leakage). Machine washable and inexpensive. Only complaint is that they pill up after one wash, but baby does not mind sleeping on them. Buy the larger size. Small size is too small and not very useful.

I like this product for it's functionality and the size is great for multiple functions. The first set I got washed just fine, when washed with only "non-shedding" items (sheets, etc). The second set I got, I made the mistake of washing with some new towels that "shed" a LOT in the wash/dry and all of it STUCK to these pads (pilling, like a sweater...so hard to get off!). It made the pads look really old/used. But if you wash separately or with just sheets or something, they should be fine.

All of the fleece waterproof pads pill almost immediately, no matter what the brand. It does not affect the product's purpose. I've had my pads for 3 years, and they were a hand-me-down from my niece who is 7 years old. They have survived 3 kids and will survive many more I'm sure. They don't feel or look amazing but they're a life saver. I would suggest a different pad for sleeping, though, so when baby is moving around he/she doesn't get irritated by fabric.

I love the size of these - I put them over the changing pad cover and it protects from both sides (spit up and...). I use them in the crib to protect the sheet (but only b/c he's an infant still). Also like that they are PVC free. However, the cloth is not great - it pilled after only 1 washing. I don't think these will have a long life because of the wear they already have (5 weeks in). Close, but no cigar Babies R Us.

I got these pads with my first son and used them everywhere: on top of the changing table cover, layered them under the crib sheets, placed them under baby at changing time. They are awesome and such a time saver. With boys, you never know when they will go to the bathroom in the middle of a diaper change. Using these pads in any area you change baby allows you to just swap out the pad rather then change the changing table cover or crib sheets. Yes, they may pill up when you wash them but I didn't expect to use them for esthetic purposes. I bought several more to use with my second baby and in several sizes. They are a must for this mommy.

I can't have enough of these. They're great for diaper changes on the go, or for use over the changing pad at home. The fabric pilled almost immediately, but that's just cosmetic to me.
