I bought these almost 9 months ago for our son when he was born. I have been pretty disappointed in them and wish I had saved my money. I guess I should have paid closer attention to the type of terry cloth, because this material catches on everything! I have big threads pulled out in several places on these from catching on things in the washer and even on the clothes that my son is wearing during changing time. Velco is certainly the enemy to this cover. I'll use these until they fall apart, and then I will buy something of better quality.

This pad is plenty thick but nice and soft too. The outside covering's texture makes it easier to put on the cloth covers. Can be placed on a changing table, or on top of a dresser that has sides around the top edges. Thank you.

I bought two of these and didn't get to use them. Before I washed them, I put them on our changing pad and both of them already had strings coming out of the fabric. The strings coming out where so bad that it left the material thin. I returned them the next day!

A little rougher than I expected... thought it would feel like a soft towel, but instead it is like a beach towel washed without fabric softener. Very pretty color though. Not too scratchy for a baby, just not as soft as I had hoped and since you can't use softener on baby products there really isnt anything you can do to change that. Would suggest a cotton or fleece material instead.

These are a great buy for the price. Mine have been washed so many times in the 2 years and still look new which is why I am purchasing another for the new baby.

Upon arrival, I had originally rated this a 4 star for what I thought it seemed to be like, but now that I've used it..it's a big fat 1 star at best. It unravels, and snags on diaper and swaddle velcro tabs. Looks like total junk now after over a month's use. I bought two and each has been washed twice. NOT DURABLE. Instead of going out to buy a different cover, I've just put a receiving blanket around the pad. Works better!

The quality of this is very poor, I washed it one time and it started falling apart.

I bought this in pink and sage. The pink came out of the packaging looking good, but the sage had 3 "runs" or lines that looked like a thread in the weave was missing. I didn't want to be bothered returning it, but I'd really expect an item to be perfect out of the package! Anyway, they've been washed and no further issues.

I didn't have any problems with this cover when washing it. However once my baby learned to kick her feet she would go nuts on the changing table. Her feet would often catch the edge of the pad and her feet ended up fraying the pad cover pretty badly. Now with loose loops I have to toss it, I don't want her tiny toes getting tangled in it.

I washed the cover with a gentle deturgent and it shed terry cloth in my dryer. Not a little . . . a lot! Then when I attempted to put it on the changing pad and the holes for the safety strap were too small. I practically ripped it to get the straps in. Funny thing is, it says it fits any changing pad and both are from Baby's R Us. Don't purchase.
