Like another reviewer, mine also broke within minutes of me putting it together. I am going to email the company to see if they will do anything, as I do not trust simply exchanging it now. This was a birthday gift for my step son. He was very excited about it and protested us taking it back, so I would like for him to be able to enjoy it. Our issue was that first the lightbulb would not stay into the socket properly. Then, once we had everything in place and screwed back in, it would not turn off. The button that you push to switch on/off does not click the switch, just goes in and out.

    DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Comments about Uncle Milton Star Wars Science Death Star Planetarium:

This planetarium was amazing on NIGHT ONE! On night two we had to put the backup bulb in as the first bulb had already burned out. It worked for two nights. Keep in mind, I only turn it on for 2-3 hours until my son is fast asleep. On night 5 it wouldn't work so I replaced the batteries and it worked. On night 6 the second bulb blew out. So, unless you own stock in AA batteries and tiny, hard to find bulbs, DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! I loved the concept but it isn't worth the money. My son is now screaming because I told him the store didn't have any more so he can't have a new one. He won't understand my rationale for not exchanging it. This item is poorly made and disappointing.

Comments about Uncle Milton Star Wars Science Death Star Planetarium:

After purchasing this for my son about one month ago, we have only been able to use it twice. The day we bought it was fine, but I found out that the small light bulb burns out in a matter of hours. Which then I had to replace, they do send you two in the box, however I don't believe that it is worth the effort to have to replace the small bulb every time we use it for at least an hour or two.

Comments about Uncle Milton Star Wars Science Death Star Planetarium:

The kids were totally excited when they first saw that the "Death Star" could make stars in their room, and I thought it would make a great night-light. Problems is its battery powered and the batteries only last 1 night. Not worth it for the money you will spend in AA's! Also, the Star Wars part is just a flimsy top you take off and leaves a very bright white light that doenst look anything like planets!

Comments about Uncle Milton Star Wars Science Death Star Planetarium:

We bought this for my 5 year old and were so excited for him to open it for Christmas. I was nervous about it, since I had the reviews on [@] after we purchased it but my husband convinced me it would be okay. After my son opened it, we put it together and it worked great for 2 nights. It was a blast to see the stars and have my boys so excited about it. Then the light burnt out. When we tried putting the other light in, it wouldn't work. We're not sure if the batteries needed to be replaced, or if the light just stopped working, but either way, we're going to take it back. Hopefully we can find something else comparable, as I love the idea, just not this particular toy!

I bought two products from the Uncle Milton line, and one was the Moon in My Room, which Is amazing and my son and I love it! This Star Wars Planetarium was the second product and it was Terrible! If I didnt throw the box away, I'd return it immediately! The product is very cool when the TINY lightbulb stays in place! You can't even touch the thing without the lightbulb falling out of the socket! I am very upset, and even worse, my oldest son is extremely upset that one of his christmas presents is not functioning properly.

This was a gift that I put on a list for friends/family and my son was excited to see it. Tried to use it the day after Christmas and it is missing pieces and falling apart. Can't even see what it may have been like, will be returning it for something else.

The batteries have to be replaced daily, despite only being used as a night light, the stand is useless, and the bulb was hard to insert properly.

That being said, when it works, it's great. My son loves it and loved seeing the stars on his wall. However, we've since given up on actually using it for it's function and now it just acts as another decoration in his Star Wars themed room.

I bought this for a star wars birthday party, the projection barely reached the ceiling, I don't think anyone even noticed it. When I set it up in my son's bedroom the next day we couldn't get it to turn back on and ended up throwing it away.
