Part of Schleich's World of History: The World of Knights Collection - Dragonrider. Nugur, the dragon and Kishay, his rider, are best friends. Excited to find new adventures as they encounter the heavens of Bayala. On the dawn of a new day Kishay vaults into Nugurs saddle. The cool breeze blows the last grains of desert sand out of Kishays hair. Underneath Nugurs wings the woods, rivers and lakes quickly pass by. At night they stay on a rocky cliff overlooking the vast and mysterious new terrain. Both Kishay and Nugur wait for tomorrow a time of excitement filled with making new friends and dangerous adventures.

Schleich, founded in 1935, has been bringing figurines to life since the 1950's. In the 1980's, Schleich added animal figurines to their famous figurine line including the Smurfs, Snoopy, and the Muppet Show. Schleich animal play worlds span from the lost time of the dinosaurs to domestic and wild animals of the present day. Schleich play worlds now include the Wild West and the fantasy realms of medieval knights and elves. Schleich animal play worlds are a true reflection of nature on a smaller scale and are as realistic and naturalistic as possible!

All Schleich designs are created in house with the majority of production taking place at the company's German headquarters. Schleich products are developed with the assistance of parents, teachers and children and are designed for children's small hands.

This was one of my son's favorite Christmas presents! We have a lot of the Schleich knights, dragons, fairies, etc, and this was a perfect addition. My son (Who's 5, by the way) loves that the dragon rider is young. He's removable, too. As for the other reviewer who said it was "to spensive", anyone who buys Schleich knows the quality is outstanding and worth every penny. We've owned some of these pieces for YEARS and my all 6 of our kids play REALLY hard, hours every day. There are very few toys who make it through even one year here. But we've never broken a Schleich toy... EVER! Fantastic!
