My kids have hours of fun with this stuff. They wanted to make me ice cream all day...looks so real. Can get messy with little pieces coming off at times.

i BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT FOR MY 4 CHILDREN AND FOUND THAT IT FELL APART EASILY!!!! it COULD NOT BE "EASILY DABBED UP" AS PROMISED AND IT RUINED THE CLOTHES OF MY CHILDREN AND STAINED MY NEW COUCHES PERMANENTLY! DO NOT BUY MOON DOUGH, THE NON DRYING ABILITY IS CERTAINLY NOT WORTH THE DAMAGE!!!!!!

I want to start off by saying, I am not one of those parents that bash Playdoh. We love the stuff, and have tons of it. It is played with strictly in the kitchen, on a placemat at the table.

A few years ago, my dad bought my then 4 yr old daughter Moon Sand. Awful stuff! Impossible to clean up what spilled to be used again. It got swept up and put in the trash, and quickly the supply dwindled and was no more.

Fast forward a few years, and I fall victim to advertising... Moon Dough never dries out! stays soft! (my only complaints about Playdoh... but then again, it is cheap enough to buy new to replace it). TRU recommends it for ages 3-5, but my 7 year old asked and asked for it, and still enjoys her Playdoh, so I thought why not? The ice cream cart looks really cute. So I buy it. Christmas Day, she opens it, and wants to play with it right away. After breakfast, we open it up. The first thing we notice is the very unpleasant smell. She starts playing with it, along with her 5 year old sister. They had fun, but had a lot of trouble getting anything to mold completely - even the simple "scoops" of ice cream. It crumbled all over the table and floor while we attempted to squeeze and squish it for a few minutes, as described in the instuctions. This seemed to accomplish nothing. It continued to flake off all over the place, left a funny feeling residue on our hands, and the smell... did I mention the smell? Playdoh has a "nice" odor... very nostalgic to me. Moon Dough smells like some chemical you would normally tell your children to avoid.

I'm telling Gramma to *please* return the Moon Dough Barn she bought for my daughter as well, and get something else. At this very moment, my 7 year old, 5 year old, 14 and 16 yr olds, and my 12 year old sister-in-law are all at the table, playing... with Playdoh's Mega Fun Factory, having a ton of fun! I'm wondering if the ice cream cart can be used with Playdoh....

We bought this for our son's 4th birthday since he loves play doh and it always is drying out. THis product is AWFUL! It crumbles everywhere! It is like a soft foam, hard to shape into anything, and leaves a funny smell on your hands. KEEP YOUR MONEY. This product will only cause headaches.

My son and daughter both like to play with this. it is good make believe. I like that it never dries because they always forget to clean up.

I bought the Moon Dough barn at Toys R Us for my daughters birthday and she had a blast with it. They opened it up right away and all the girls had fun making their own creations and pretending to own their own ice cream shop. I think this is a great product, and I would recommend to anyone who hasnt tried Moon Dough before!

My daughter has been asking for Moon dough ever since she saw the first commercial. She was so excited to get it on her 3rd birthday. When it was time to actually play with it.. what a disappointment. The dough is very flaky.. it says for an adult to work it out first which I did until my fingers got tired and the dough still does not stay together and flakes into a million pieces. The ice cream cart falls apart everytime she tries to pull the crank. I feel so bad because she was soo excited to get this and was def. let down. We will stick with play dough from now on!!
